Nevermind, i JUST found a few in a jungle. : D
Seeing Silk Thread as a known ressource on the overworld map (by spending a few rounds for example) is a good indicator of them being there.

I've been scouring both jungles and mountains, but i haven't found any so far.
Am i looking in the wrong biome?
