im not sure, but even if they do, it will look a bit broken. so i advise your friends all subscribe anyway. this addon is both a fix and a script to enforce the animation.

not really, no, the act for the pounce is non functional, so a script and a slight animation adjustment is required to play it on his pounce - as i have done so for this addon.

those are custom sounds that I made. I might release a script similar to tomaz's Jockey Leap Audio Cue with these unique, distinguishable sounds.

I think the ‘stop, play warning sound, and attack’ behavior was planned since the L4D2 specials do have the unused warn sounds for it, but it was never implemented. I only ever noticed that fact after realizing how aggravating it is to deal with the Jockey, Spitter, and Charger immediately attacking on sight, unlike the L4D1 specials, who give you a short warning to prepare for their attack.

This in my opinion would explain why it feels so janky when the jockey jumps. Now I hope there will be a mod that won't allow the jockey to grab unless it hits center mass or the head. And another one that forces a unique animation before he is aloud to jump, like how the hunter has to crouch to pounce.
