This is because I'm currently doing my internship at my university.
And I'm also working on a new project.
Okay, new update to buff Patient 0
Patient 0's overall mobility has been adjusted, making him faster both on the ground and in the air.
Knockback adj: 0.85 to 0.80
Dtilt, Ftilt, Fair, Bair, Dattack, Jab, Nair, Nspecial (Tinky scream), Fspecial are now faster.
Nair's hitbox now covers a percentage of Patient 0's body, making it more oval.
Nair's knockback has been increased from 4 to 5.5, and knockback scaling has also been added to .45.
Dspecial now deals 5% faster hits.
Some knockbacks have been adjusted to buff Patient 0's neutral and aerial attacks, that's all.
See yaaa
He's so slow to the point he's kinda hard to control or do combos with, he's also predictable. Fighting against a high lvl AI as him is too hard. Even with the super armors.
My suggestions is to make him a little faster and buff with certain attacks
nair being a bit useless, why not make a circular shockwave to knockback for breather
WE NEED A PROPER SONIC.EXE
also yipeeee more pillar chase
I've taken note of your suggestions and observations. I've already fixed the parry bug with the Dspecial. The Newborn also hits when he swings his head (I modified the animation). The Special now also serves as a recovery feature, keeping Patient 0 in the air for a few frames, only landing at the end.
The fact that the Newborn can be activated with Jab/Nair remains the same. I'm not much of a programmer and don't know much, so it's more convenient to keep it that way for now.
I hope you continue to enjoy the character, and thanks for your comment!
Notes:
Parrying the custard behaves weirdly, the aura is reflected and the visual is bugged, it would probably be better if parrying the custard removed it
The Newborns hitbox comes out before it fully swings its head, if you could retime the hitbox to properly match the animation that would probably just look better
Suggestions:
Have Side Special suspend you in the air when you use it, gives him more recovery options since right now he has Little Mac levels of recovery
Have the Newborn attack whenever it detects a player since manually making it swing is kinda clunky
