Yeah, it's too flat and stale, but also bulky and generic - looks like some kind of labels in F2P MMO's, that doesn't bother about style. Nah, sorry, mate.

I believe it would look better with a bit of 3D volume that spins around the head rather than being a stationary sprite that always faces you.
