1. What you're describing violates Paradox Modding Policy, and would result in me having to ban our mod.
2. We had a discussion early on, and came to the consensus that we would only use explicit consent. We would not assume consent through people not responding.
also honestly if certain mod no longer being update for over 6 Months, then it shouldn't really be a problem to take over the mod unless the original creator / author say they want to update those mod again.
Also this is bitter lesson from Gigastructural Engineering, please Disable the Crisis by Default to avoid repeating Katzenartig stomp new player please.
early Katzenartig around Version 2 DLC were insane, unless you're the type to effortlessly defeat Crisis X 25 you'll definitely get over run by these feline and rage quit for ruining your ironmod game LMAO.
