No worries. I see it's not just a graphics mod like I expected, it's got some lua code. Something in there is no doubt throwing the game for a loop.

maybe its colliding with another mod that edits guppy. idk?? it just changes the item names and the sprite

This causes the game to crash after character selection, unfortunately. I'm running a lot of other mods but enabling/disabling this one is what makes the difference. I had assumed this was just a graphics change, maybe not?
