could you add the same thing for defeating a raid? colony-wide mood buff that lasts about as long as it takes to recover from bruises & scratches and about as strong as it takes to almost neutralize the mood de-buff from being in minor pain but not enough to overpower mood debuffs from being in major pain or from people dying?
the reason i bring this up is that if the homestead gets attacked & u repel them with little more than dents on your armor and can reliably(?) infer that your home will be safe for a little while it should be a mood lifter not a mood lower...er.

Feels like this should be in the vanilla game. You'd think some kind of reaction would happen when someone is returned from the dead or liberated from prison.

Also nice touch adding that rivals get a mood debuff.

If I can get in touch with the author of IWBB I can try and make a patch where that buff will be included in this mod's adjustability settings.

@Literally Free after a while of waiting after letting a buncha pawns named KidnapTest (who all had max Melee, Mining, Intellectual, & Social) get kidnapped, one made it home via I will be back's method and I can confirm the mood buffs stack, probably inadvertently.

As of today's update, pawns will now have a mood debuff when their rival is resurrected or returned to the colony. Additionally, the mod options menu is now much more robust with drop down categories and features sliders for every relation. Enjoy!

when your mod says colonists get a mood boost from their buddy returning from a kidnapping, does it also include when they come back via the mod "I will be back"?

New update is likely coming tonight. I'm just about finished testing it. I'll include a patch for 1.5. I'm not sure if I can patch for 1.3 right now as a lot of thought defs and code elements have changed since then but sometime in the future I might be able to make an alternate version if there's enough demand for it. No 1.9 though, you're SOL.

So right now, I have 2 sliders for both resurrection and rescue in the mod options. You can change the amount of days, as well as the mood buff. I'm currently working on an update that will bring different mood buffs depending on colonist relationships, and I'm going to have sliders for each possible relation in the mod settings as well.

I agree with @Salt Dagger
resurrection and return from kidnapping are very rare as is so I could see having +20-30 for resurrection and 15-20 for return to be entirely justifiable. and maybe even make it longer
I guess, some settings/toggles would fix any debates :)

Genuinely missing from the base game, great addition.

Considering marriage is a +40 for 30 days, with attendance being a +20 for 10 days, I think these being increased a lil is fair but the fact this exists regardless is good anyway.
