consistency problem can be fixed with
l4d2 properties -> set launch options -> insert " +sv_consistency 0 -heapsize 750000 "
works at least in single player, ymmv in multiplayer

I got a "Server is enforcing consistency for this file:
models/infected/smoker.mdl" error, hope that you can fix it
