That is true the cost are cheaper, forgot that tbh. When I disable the mod it just keeps those mutations even if the cost is more expensive.

@LitLuigi73 If it counts for anything, the cost changes are only buffs, so you can just put those extra points into some 1 point mutations?

The only thing dislike about this mod, is the re balanced mutation costs when making the character's build. It messes up my builds I already made.

Yes! It should apply to all enemies. Although Scorpions are best dealt with at range even in the base game.

Do these changes apply to enemies as well? I imagine scorpions will be wildly more lethal with uncapped stinger penetrations.

@Z My mod is definitely at odds with the more survival/difficulty oriented gameplay mindset. No disagreement there. That said, my guiding philosophy was to balance the weaker mutations around the strongest mutations. Basically everything should be as good as things like Wings, Carapace, Corrosive Gas Generation, Precognition, etc. If you don't enjoy that, this definitely won't be your cup of tea. I do kind of wish someone made a "hardcore" mod that made the game way harder though. IMHO the game is too easy after earlygame.

Either way, if you have any specific suggestions I'm all ears. I appreciate feedback whether positive or negative.

i always like to check up on the new updates on your mod. and while i havent downloaded n tried em, just by the description most of these changes seem just a weee bit too much. but im happy your doing something and trying to make a good mod!

Kind of. It won't break anything, but it won't update existing mutations to the new versions. Any mutation that isn't updated will have a "(B)" after it's name. You can use the mutationbgone wish and the mutation wish to replace it with the modded version, but it will not automatically replace it.

Do you think Light Manipulation could get a little love? I love it but it falls off as a damage dealer late game, though tbf the % for light deflection is neat.

Graven witch has a telepathy mod that enables you get the visual feedback of whatever your minions see. I had a really cool build involving a true kin with penetrating radar and temporal fugue on a relic that expand my field of range in a massive way

What are your thoughts on making night vision scaling vs the straight buff you've done? Allow it to be leveled like another mutation. Downsides: now costs mutation points. Upsides: can be much stronger

@MANTIZZLE I think extra companions is probably too OP. As is the Beguiling HP scaling is really high now. You can make your followers INCREDIBLY tanky with this mod. As for Telepathy, 20% reduced mental action cost is a pretty strong buff for a single point. Although I'm open to suggestions for something else if you have ideas?

i think esper is too powerful mutation. it gives easy access to mental mutations from legendary seekers and removes the only thing that stops ego builds from dominating in early game.
basically esper with ego projection now has no downsides and can stomp the game from level 1 - just dump str, buff ego to enormous value and kill everything. it's just too good overall in everything.

I'm glad to hear it. It's almost to version 1.0, at which point I'll continue doing minor balance tweaks. If you have any suggestions or criticisms based on your gameplay I'd love to hear it. Also I'd definitely appreciate a review(for positive or negative lol. I hate when reviews don't show because there's not enough).

My bad. I forgot to update the Stinger tooltip, but it does penetrate multiple times. Everything else should have accurate tooltips. I'm going to do some additional scaling adjustments after I accumulate more testing data, and update the tooltip alongside those changes.

Do these changes get reflected in the In game tooltips? Because stingers still say only penetrate once even though they only cost 3 now.

Oh one thing, it won't apply to Psychometry given via cooking. That hasn't been patched in yet. Only psychometry gained from levelups or character creation.

I just checked the code. It looks like the class that handles doors has a hardcoded reference to psychometry. I can't directly change that without breaking a lot of other things, so I'll need to use a Harmony patch to fix that. It will definitely be a little while though. Sorry.
