As for color, I wanted a dark color to for several reasons. For one, it looks more dramatic, which is important to convey its important functionality. A bright blue color like every other tank felt like it blended in too much or didn't look imposing enough. A dark color and face makes it look like a bullet bill, which I think is a cool way to communicate to other gamers "this is a speedy enemy". It's an icon gamers are pretty familiar with.

The speed increase isn't just a flat punishment- it's a means to make your team consider when to damage the tank. Is it better for the whole team to take it on at once, or let one solo do some damage while it speeds across the map? Is the distance or speed reasonable for where you are in the map? Should you handle the bots up front and let the tank slowly creep up, and then all run back and kill the tank later? You could still have a solo player handle it, but they'd be separated from your team even further. Just some examples of little dynamic stuff that leads to decision-making that the default tank doesn't provide on its own.

Unsure about this one, as making a tank that punishes players for damaging it is generally not a good design choice.

However, design-wise, I think the rocket needs to be a tad lighter or simple have the same blue the rest of the tank has, it's silhouette alone is enough to set it apart. Making the decals look more spray-painted on would make it look more threatening.

I love this design! Great idea for a tank variation as well. I hope some mappers utilize this!

Would be nice to have a Gray Paint version of these Tanks.

I have a suggestion for the function of this tank.
Instead of speeding up when damaged, shouldn't it slow down when damaged?
since we're supposto be shooting it?

Sort of like the "Giant Scouts when the Natasha Heavy is camping last" moment.
Thoughts?

This one looks the most Valve-like so far. Looks like this is what the Warhawk skins would have been based on if not for the blue.

Yeah a decent few maps make use of the gate tank and I thiiiiiink one or two use the building tank? But o haven’t seen any use this tank yet, I’m excited to see someone use it

Sweet, can't wait to see it. Thanks for putting in the extra work, hope to see more maps use all three of these

Thanks!

Right now the blitz tank opens like normal, with the side doors flapping open and the bomb coming out all proper. It’s just that at the moment, the nose cone clips thru the front of the tank during deploy. The plan is to have the nozzle pop off and roll on the ground with a satisfying little “tunk”, detaching kinda like a multi stage rocket launch. I’m gonna do that once the Halloween rush is over and there’s some peace to get that bit of polish in.

I love the rockets. What does it look like to deploy the bomb? Still opens from the front?
