This is really cool and unique - sadly it just does not look good on moving taunts, still good work though!

Thanks for the feedback, ghost. The weapons being too large is a legitimate concern, but it is exaggerated on smaller classes like the scout. I also think trailing is a good idea and something I might update the effect with - particularly for the falling petals near the top and potentially the grass and glows. Also, thanks a ton for the kind words and all man very refreshing to see some in depth feedback like that which I can actually try to implement. Also, the spectral graves on some of the hills in Shadow of The Erdtree were a pretty big inspiration for this effect so it’s nice to see you caught onto that.

This effect is very cool, but I think it could be improved. I think people would be a lot more happy with the effect if the swords weren't so large. Right now they stand almost as tall as the characters at certain frames in the animation.
The other thing that could make this way better is if you implement a trail effect to the motion taunts. The Zoomin' Broom preview video shows it just kind of sticks to the character as they move, but it's definitely possible to make the effect more smoothly fade out behind a moving character. If I remember right, Wildflower Meadows is a good example of an effect that does what I'm describing, and it's pretty similar to your effect. If you look at that one, the grass sort of trails behind the player as they move, then fades out. I think it would look a lot more natural, plus it looks awesome to see effects leaving trails behind people in game.

Anyway I think the taunt reminds me a lot of some of the battlefields in Elden Ring, it's pretty cool.

What an absolute eyesore. This effect would've better worked in practice, if normal textures were used instead of this forced neon vomit which causes every detail to blend in altogether

They look great as far as the concept goes, and It's cool to see color variants with different details. I say you should definitely do something other than the axtinguisher on the purple variant though, and to scale down the weapons, they look jarringly large

show it ingame!!! its a cool concept but i think the glow around the swords is a bit weird
