What work type does this building use? Does it get faster with Deep Drilling/Mining speeds? I haven't done any testing, but it feels painfully slow and I wanna know if its even worth sitting my Lv20 mining guy in front of it just for steel instead of a drone

I like this mod, I think people are confused about lava because of the picture (the background is lava).
The one request I have is to rotate the interaction spot.

i mean hell you could literally extract minerals from water streams making extremely small amounts of resources, or the air, plus pressurised steam somehow must get water, water carries minerals because of erosion so yea rutranickers is like, sorta right, just irl its not viable because 1 money and 2 money

Lava streams are rich in resources, specially heavy ones like precious metals and, depending on the type of volcano, diamonds. The lava, when it comes from the mantle, clashes with the solid parts of the crust, often carrying chunks of it to the surface. This is the process that creates diamond mines in real life. This building can easily be interpreted to be made do take advantage of this process, scraping the rubble left behind by lava streams to collect useful material.

Why are people acting like this game takes place on Earth? Not my realism in my sci fi game! Anyway this sounds great, nice mod man
