also don't use it onteh save our ship 2 space ship maps eather by the way. thast bescue its giong to be like cheating bacly. but you can use them onteh planet to makea huge save our ship 2 ship to help build it like you would a gravship however.
mashtong54 5 Oct @ 12:11pm
well i think it might actly do that with save our ship two but WAHTE EVER YOU MUST YOU NEVER EVER CROSS THE GRAVSHIP GRAVTY CORES OR GRAVE SHIP PARTS WITH THE SAVE OUR SHIP TWO PARTS THAT DO EXTRA STUFF.

I wonder if this will also work with SOS2. I saw it uploaded recently so I may have to find out for myself.

I have to admit - the cheap concrete leaving an imprint like a Luney-toons bit is hillarious.
Tleno 18 Aug @ 7:31pm
Kinda reminds me of how Quarry mod would leave some super useless terrain afterwards, even if you could "reclaim" it to be less bad, I think it's a cool idea to just permanently remove natural world from an area.

Anything can be removed with DevMode, but I like the idea that you've just created one of those 'ancient landing fields' we can find.

its unremovable?
i don't know... that's scary...

Absolute genius

@Glitch

Really appreciate the quick, concise explanation.

So a mod like Terraform Rimworld (should) let you replace the deep concrete with another terrain.

Thanks, I hadn't considered that.

@Reishe So essentielly, there's three layers of floor in RW. From top to bottom :
- Flooring (wood, tiles, carpet, etc)
- Structures (bridges, gravship floor)
- Terrain (dirt, sand, rock, etc)
This is why gravships remove flooring : there's no space for the map to save something in between structure and terrain.

What my mod does is make a buildable terrain-level version of concrete. By placing it, you overwrite the data of the original terrain, so there's no removing anything. The only workarounds for that if you wanted to remove it, would be to either have a whole new layer in between terrain and structure, or to have buildables for all types of terrain.
Reishe 16 Aug @ 9:50am
Thanks for the mod.
Was it intentional to make the flooring unremovable or was that just the workaround you managed? I assume the later, but I don't know anything about how the gravship is implemented in vanilla.

Wait, are the yellow and black borders no included?

@Ishchyaboi

The grav anchor keeps the map from being destroyed ,but vanilla the floors underneath your ship will still be "taken with the ship". This floor prevents that.
Ishchyaboi 16 Aug @ 4:56am
Doesn't base game destroy the map tile when you launch a gravship? So you'd need a mod that stops that from happening for this to be worth it, right?
Or does this act as a terrain-like alternative to grav anchors, like "the grav ship stops annihilating the ground, so we can come back"?

yes! Thank you!!!:2019smile:
Glitch  [author] 16 Aug @ 3:27am
@Wuzzems it should be :)
Wuzzems 16 Aug @ 3:02am
Is this safe to add mid save?
lydocia 16 Aug @ 2:56am
Ah fair, thanks for explaining!
Glitch  [author] 16 Aug @ 1:52am
@lydocia Mostly because it requires Odyssey-specific resources, also because it answers a DLC-related need. It uses the in-game textures for concrete and stone, so there is aesthetically no difference with vanilla options if you just want concrete floors without the DLC.
A Kobold 16 Aug @ 1:47am
It requires Vacstone to create.

It does nothing otherwise.
lydocia 16 Aug @ 1:06am
Why does it require Odyssey, though? ISn't it just a floor?
