such a immersive mod, love it!
Starman  [author] 30 Sep @ 9:20am
@Luca Everything works fine. Move closer to the computer and right-click on the monitor.
Luca 30 Sep @ 6:18am
Can you please confirm if your mod is working after last update ? When i find a computer i click (left or right button) on it but nothing happens
Shyrack ⚡ 29 Sep @ 10:15am
@treybert30 If that happens, this game would become almost as legendary as Gmod

I love this one. And it works alongside PZLinux! So I can have my computer both for entertainment and for making black market deals!

@Данила No
23 Sep @ 8:08am
It's even possible to made in-game access to Internet?
Starman  [author] 23 Sep @ 5:42am
Andreus 23 Sep @ 5:40am
Starman  [author] 23 Sep @ 5:33am
Andreus 22 Sep @ 11:47pm
Starman  [author] 22 Sep @ 7:03pm
Updated. The impact on moodlets has been fixed. Removed the effect on fatigue. Removed Mod Options (who needs them anyway?)
Starman  [author] 22 Sep @ 4:34am
@Andreus Чуть позже.
Andreus 22 Sep @ 3:17am
Starman  [author] 19 Sep @ 3:20am
galkinzhenia 18 Sep @ 9:24pm
galkinzhenia 17 Sep @ 11:49pm
Starman  [author] 16 Sep @ 9:13am
Tested on clean and modified versions of the game - everything works fine.
loot 16 Sep @ 8:17am

galkinzhenia 15 Sep @ 9:55pm
elithepi10 13 Sep @ 10:12pm
finally i can play roblox
drshahramanvariazar 8 Sep @ 12:05pm
useless fun fact or something idk: the game is set in 1993 and computers commonly use a operating system same as windows 3.1
Andreus 7 Sep @ 5:28am
the change in the settings of the mod for the speed of fatigue from sitting at the computer does not actually work
Starman  [author] 3 Sep @ 5:32pm
I'll figure out the floppy disks when I manage to integrate in-game music CDs.
Starman  [author] 3 Sep @ 5:31pm
@Dr. aids There is a problem with integrating custom animations in b42. For now, it is only possible to use vanilla animations. I tried to find an animation that is at least a little similar to keyboard interaction.
There is also a problem with the integration of vanilla functions - for example, inserting a disc with music and simulating a radio or CD player. It's not all that simple, in general.
Dr. aids 3 Sep @ 11:20am
kinda strange that under the ToDo list is the ability to wipe CDs and write data to them. the game takes place in 1993, yet the CD-RW format, the type of cd that can be wiped and rewritten, only came out in 1997. CD-R was somewhat available by then, but data on it cannot be rewritten. thematically, it would make more sense to use 3.5' floppy diskettes as rewriteable media, with some software probably still being available on those by the time the knox outbreak happens.

dont let my technical nitpicks make it sound like i dont like the mod. i love it. even in this obviously unfinished state. it give another device for me to decorate my living room with and makes me pay a little bit more attention to whatever discs i find while looting -- but a custom animation for using the computer would go a long way. it just dosnt feel right not seeing my survivor clickidy clacking away on the keyboard.
Hans-Landa 2 Sep @ 1:48pm
I must say I really enjoy the system you designed for the PC, very interactive yet more easy than others i've seen try to do stuff with computers.
Rurr 31 Aug @ 12:48pm
Will be able to play Doom on this PC ?
Grunil Master 29 Aug @ 9:44am
@Starman :
Ho man... Nothing are coming soon, or later, and can say : i'm like PZ.
PZ Vanilla just have insane content, mechanic, etc.
And with modders, like you, even Star citizen (ok no zombie) smell like shit.
Aaron_Merric 28 Aug @ 6:48am
Project Zomboid is just going to be better. Years of dev show always.
bueno8man 26 Aug @ 6:12pm
Bro said 2 unity games are better than PZ.
Hans-Landa 25 Aug @ 4:24pm
Dude I was an early access player of PZ I played PZ when there wasn't any 3D sprites at all, and it has been worth more to me waiting for PZ slowly develop into something good than playing the flavor of the month zombie slop.
MotoSpider 25 Aug @ 3:55pm
dudes right forget what I said just do what you want
Dude.Man.Guy™ 25 Aug @ 7:09am
@Starman don't let that stop you my man, modders like you keep games alive and flush with interesting content, and whilst technically speaking these games may have more content I think PZ has a certain charm and depth unmatched.
Aura 24 Aug @ 7:17pm
@Starman what similar games are you talking about?
MotoSpider 24 Aug @ 10:52am
Oh well then don't I didn't know so its fine because PZ is already very occupying and takes up 4 hours of my life everyday I was just hoping for a side quest while fighting zombies
Starman  [author] 24 Aug @ 8:50am
@MotoSpider Do you want me to make a game that you will play while playing the game?
I am now generally doubting the advisability of wasting time and effort on creating mods for PZ, because while IndyStone is making this game, 2 similar games have already appeared and one of them has already partially surpassed PZ in content, and without mods.
MotoSpider 24 Aug @ 8:38am
It would be super cool if you could like play them instead of having the taskbar but its still pretty cool
drshahramanvariazar 23 Aug @ 12:19pm
LMAO
Starman  [author] 21 Aug @ 4:37am
@Doesntexist Thanks for the report! Now the CD selection window only sees gaming CDs.
Doesntexist 20 Aug @ 11:00pm
Managed to insert a VHS into a pc and now it wont accept any disks I find, think my character just jammed a VHS into a CD slot and broke it lmao
Hans-Landa 20 Aug @ 5:10pm
@What.
Like I originally said, have an option that turn on or off the loot tables of items that are post 93, this is not about DOOMM itself, I don't mind it as long as it remains inside 1993, I just don't want this to be like the computer games mod that includes a bunch of modern games like call of duty and other things that simply didn't fit.
DOOM fits, my first comment about the CD's vs Floppy is that I consider DOOM a floppy game, hell you could probably spawn the demo on mailboxes, since that's how DOOM used to be distributed, they would give you a floppy with the first chapter in magazines for free.
Ideally the full release CD should be a rarity, while the demo should be common place followed by the full release on floppy.
But that's just me spitballing.
what. 20 Aug @ 11:14am
Ideal solution would probably be some sort of options setting to decide whether Doom is:
a) inaccessible due to being unpublished by July of 1993
b) extremely rare or hard to obtain, possibly only through a unique event where you find a disc with an early copy of it given to a friend of a dev (or something like that)
c) fully accessible, it was just published a year or so earlier than irl

Regardless, it's not really that big of a deal and that much detail isn't necessary. Probably just an option to disable the Doom aspect would be best.
Aly 20 Aug @ 5:54am
Doom came out in december of 1993, anyone that doesn't think there was a near finished version of the game in 1993 has so many worms in their brain that it's coming out of their ears. This is the single DUMBEST comment thread I've ever fucking seen.
Uwe 20 Aug @ 5:41am
Zombies don't exist even in 2025. So your argument is invalid.
Hans-Landa 20 Aug @ 4:15am
You wanted to sound witty but all it shows is how stupid you are. Night of the living Dead was released in 1968 so zombies had been a thing for a while.
