Can we get an option to make the text smaller / window bigger, so that common events don't take 3 pages?

It would be great if there were a system like Rimtalk that uses AI to convey quest details as if each storyteller were having a conversation.

A way to block some letters would be nice, like psycast level gained and other messages that repeat too often. Or compatibility with B.U.M.? I like it very much but my psycaster colony is spamming psycast level gained messages and it's driving me crazy :steamsad:

this is a nitpick but the storyteller are very low res, they look ugly

when i let my game idea and it gets to many letters it bugs out and i have to close all the letters and reload the save then i can get it to unbug and read one of the letters

@loli_nymph If you're using a vanilla storyteller, simply replace the file in the folder.
For modded storytellers, use that storyteller's defName as the filename and add it to the folder.

@Alpaga I've run a test, and I didn't encounter the infinite loop issue during the naming event after a birth. It seems like it might be a conflict with another mod.

 Hey, I like this mod’s concept.

Here to report what seems to be a bug : after childbirth, you get an event that asks you to name the child, which includes multiple text fields. However, what happened with RPG Dialog is that it seemed to be caught in an infinite loop with no text displayed. I couldn’t close the RPG Dialog box, so I disabled the mod.

Sorry, I should have taken a screenshot and more details, but basically : the naming dialog box at childbirth seems to bug this mod.

the typing effect feels laggy since it goes like half a word at a time, maybe you could add an option for it to type just a single letter at a time

Any chance for an option to make the dialouge box bigger? It gets very squished on resolutions like 1600x900

Typing speed option possible? When I read VN I usually set them pretty high so would be nice to have it here too.

I really like the look of the Dialog,
but is there a way to adjust the size of the window and skip the typing ?

I dislike that most quests and incidents require multiple windows and I have to skip back and forth to re-read them.
I would prefer a single-window dialog.

I am visually impaired and this mod is wonderful! I can actually read the messages now, instead of struggling with the little white text in the top left. Is there a way to have an option to have all messages pause and pop up this dialog rather than the little white corner text? Something in Mod Options like "Message Event Options:" "Default" and "Enable All Events."
You're helping visually impaired people play the game, and ya prolly didn't even know it!

This is a fantastic mods. It's one of those that makes you think "Damn, I didn't know I want this but now I need it.

I do have one suggestion however:

Can you make it so clicking the ESC key closes the dialogue? . It would be amazingly convenient.

on macos typing effect doesn't work, dialog is empty for a while and then all text appears at the sime time

@Barneva I felt that feature was unnecessary since you can already switch from the mod's dialog to the vanilla dialog to view it.

@Furfante While you can currently change this by modifying the files in the mod folder, I plan to make it configurable in the settings menu in a future update.

@TAL.Protocol I'm trying to set up a Linux environment to fix the bug properly, but it's proving to be difficult. In the meantime, I've tried to fix the parts that I think might be causing the issue.
Could you please check if it's working now?
