Can you add a debuff option for factions that have lost their legendary lord?

Something like -100 growth
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 27. sep. kl. 20:21
@SoteksChosen
It does not change existing immortality skills and settings, but if an execution event occurs, the character can be executed permanently, regardless of its effect.
SoteksChosen 27. sep. kl. 15:40
I get how this mod affects Legendary Lords, but does "no immortality anymore" happen to mean the Immortal node in Lord/Hero skill trees is also gone so that absolutely no character can be immortal anymore? That would be great in my opinion
Malykriss 25. sep. kl. 2:35
Oh damn, that’s awesome! I’ll be Abel to try as soon as I’m home :) Thanks for the quick response!
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 24. sep. kl. 20:15
@Malykriss
It's already there. Try it
Malykriss 24. sep. kl. 17:14
Would you ever consider adding a feature that would make the player lose the campaign if their faction leader dies? Kind of like the mod that makes Arbaal lose the campaign from a defeat.

At least this way there’s a better chance for players to lose a campaign every once in a while.
Burrito 22. sep. kl. 11:32
Is there an option for it to be perma-death on "one die"? I usually disband lords forever after they die, but a mod doing this would be cool.
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 20. sep. kl. 9:45
@gorilla_cenk_93
ai vs ai = X
player vs ai = O
player vs player = O (in multiplay)
gorilla_cenk_93 20. sep. kl. 6:52
is this for ai to ?
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 18. sep. kl. 18:45
@Happyfunrun
yes.
Happyfunrun 18. sep. kl. 10:43
Will this work in multiplayer against other players?
rankopunjac 17. sep. kl. 23:23
Ok, thank you!
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 17. sep. kl. 20:14
@rankopunjac
The recent update probably changed some mod data in your save file. This happened only this time because the campaign was already in progressed. In next time, it would be fine.
rankopunjac 17. sep. kl. 9:42
Hey, not sure if it is compatibility issue with other mods, but executing lords doesn't work since the update (it worked with those same mods before). I executed a lord twice, and he is still coming back and is still a leader of the faction in diplomacy screen. Anyone else experiencing this? It has worked fine a couple days ago
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 16. sep. kl. 23:11
@Apocalypse

1. Only a tiny fraction of Total War: Warhammer III players actually use mods.
2. The campaign already provides built-in options to adjust AI difficulty.
3. 90% of players simply reload a save or retry the battle if they lose or if their legendary lord dies. They never just accept the defeat and keep playing until their faction is wiped out.
4. The purpose of this mod was never to nerf the AI. It’s meant to reduce the fatigue caused by certain DLC legendary lords reviving, so fast, endlessly.
5. Therefore the idea of killing the player LL after three defeats may sound “fair” on paper, but in reality it’s completly useless. If a player wants penalties, there are countless self-imposed ways to add them—it’s just that some people want a little “flavor of fairness” sprinkled in.
6. I did add the feature since it was requested, but I already know none of you will ever actually use it.
Apocalypse 16. sep. kl. 13:58
Agreed why should you only nerf the AI and therefore buff the player? Would be lame if all enemies died but you yourself are immortal

sarumanthecursed 11. sep. kl. 8:10
A bit harsh to say “useless,”

It increases the difficulty of the game, you can’t just throw your legendary lord in anywhere
deathtrooper900 11. sep. kl. 8:02
Is that setting something that can be togglable with MCT? or if it isn't can you break the debuff if you win a battle or do you just have to wait the 10 turns out?
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 11. sep. kl. 6:30
New Update

- Players legendary lord can now be permanently killed if they suffer three consecutive defeats.

--
I never imagined *anyone* would ever ask this useless feature. Good luck.
sarumanthecursed 10. sep. kl. 18:17
Can you include this for the player? I.e. after three defeats the players Lord dies
deathtrooper900 10. sep. kl. 17:52
Appreciate the quick turnaround. I usually focus on campaign effects, so replenishment and movement must have been high enough to not notice it. But I'm glad I don't have to worry about it anymore. Thanks again!
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 10. sep. kl. 9:46
@deathtrooper900
Thank you for reporting the issue.
I’ve updated the mod and fixed the problem.
When you load your save, the debuff effect may still be present on the player, but it will now naturally expire instead of being refreshed indefinitely.
And one more thing.
For reference, the debuff applied to the army is not just a visual glitch — this effects actually has effects. :)
deathtrooper900 10. sep. kl. 7:19
Sure, so the first time it happened was with Yuan Bo, though I'm not sure if it showed up before confederations or not. The second time was playing as Markus Wolfheart, and I haven't confederated anyone yet.

I had 2 theories on what might be causing them, 1st one was due to a mod that I have where legendary lords can get their own defeat traits at level 30 [By alex Zhao] (but Markus hasn't reached that threshold yet) the other was that I have the Recruit defeated legendary lords mod [By Sm0kin] Whats really strange though is that the debuff timer never goes away. if the countdown ever reaches 0 it just resets to another random turn number, Like with Markus it went from 1 turn to 7 turns.
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 10. sep. kl. 3:51
@deathtrooper900
This is a very unusual bug. Could you let me know which faction you were playing? While it's highly unlikely, it's possible that if you confederated with a faction that already had the debuff, the data may have transferred over and applied the debuff to your legendary lord.
deathtrooper900 9. sep. kl. 23:14
So after a while for some reason, despite never being defeated themselves, my own lord starts getting the Fall of the Immortal Debuff. Not sure why. I've never seen it go past phase 2, and I can't really tell if the debuffs are in effect or if its just a visual glitch. Any idea what might be causing it?
flecha 9. sep. kl. 22:15
crashing campaigns around turn 50 while changing turns
Mora 6. sep. kl. 0:04
I recommend combining this with a mod increases the duration of recovery from wounds.
Rustic Clover 4. sep. kl. 3:42
@Nazgreg
There is a mod on here called "Execute (Useless) Lords & Heroes" so you can go the extra mile and remove them from your pool entirely as long as it's not your faction leader probably, which you can just keep perma disbanded.
Nazgreg 2. sep. kl. 0:56
It's cool, just wish the AI would use it too x)
Rustic Clover 31. aug. kl. 11:46
@Adesrin
You could just play with honour rules and permanently disband your LL after dying three times.
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 27. aug. kl. 4:34
@gitrekt
It will probably be replaced by a random lord. maybe.
tryhardlsr 26. aug. kl. 6:35
lets say the AI has confederated other LLs and you or another AI kills their leader. Would they get replaced by the next LL or does it default to a generic leader?
´EE`∞EternaL 20. aug. kl. 5:47
How about a Mod that reduces the hero/lord level when killed? In this case they could still be immortal but pay a price for that. It also would affect AI+Player.
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 17. aug. kl. 20:26
@Adesrin
@sarumanthecursed

This also applies to the player.
When the player’s faction leader is defeated and then returns to campaign, the debuff is applied as well. However, even after three consecutive defeats, the leader will not be executed. Of course, the remaining duration of the debuff will be refreshed.

@Beans
Sure.
Since I don’t own the Pharaoh game, I can’t test it myself, so I can’t guarantee the mod will work perfectly. But if needed, please feel free to use it in Total War: Pharaoh as well.
Adesrin 17. aug. kl. 17:38
Yeah this should apply for the player too otherwise it just weakens AI factions and indirectly helps the player
sarumanthecursed 17. aug. kl. 9:35
Please make it affect the player too
Beans 17. aug. kl. 6:55
I'd love to make a version of this for Pharaoh, would that be ok? I'd give you full credit and link to this mod of course.
Risotto13 16. aug. kl. 9:19
I would love nothing more than to rid myself of that A-hole Tamurkhan, tyvm
Raynor 14. aug. kl. 17:51
Does this work with Radious mods?
Darkaiser 14. aug. kl. 8:12
I LOVE this mod! I let some characters, like Vampires and TK, come back because that's kind of their thing but after deleting Imrick several times, he really needed to die!
Deeyourelf 13. aug. kl. 19:23
Kino, thats really cool and what I was hoping it meant
Backmechuisa  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. kl. 19:13
@Deeyourelf
Exactly. That’s how to play the game. If you miss the chance, have to start from the beginning stage.

@Happyfunrun
It also applies to the player, of course. However, the AI cannot execute the player.
And although I haven’t tested it myself, in a multiplayer environment, if a player loses three times to another player, they should indeed be able to execute them.
Deeyourelf 13. aug. kl. 17:12
It lists the stage in the screenshot as being "Turns Remaining: 5", does that mean that if that lord avoids death for a certain amount of time, then they heal/get back to normal and arent at threat again until killed twice again?
Happyfunrun 13. aug. kl. 10:23
Does this work for players as well?
Honey Papa 13. aug. kl. 7:58
Bro, I have been fighting Tamurkhan for like 50 turns and have killed him like 4 times. He always comes back like 2 turns later with a full stack after a hard battle like wtf?? Hopefully this mod works and helps me get rid of the slimey f**k once and for all.
DdMeow 13. aug. kl. 7:51
挺有说法感觉。
OTTO325114 13. aug. kl. 6:57
你可以永久性地消灭任何已死亡三次的敌方领主
Yoshi 13. aug. kl. 6:27
what a fantastic idea! I would prefer this to be an instant effect after each battle instead. Can that be configured?

Also does the AI use this?

We should also get slightly different options depending if its a normal lord with "immortality", a legendary lord or the faction leader. Vassalizing by winning over a faction leader is kinda cool. Also executing an "immortal" lord should cause negative diplomacy of all the races of that race. So all high elves gets upset if you kill Turion. Or something like that. Would be very thematic.
Serious Lee 13. aug. kl. 3:34
Lol I know why you have chosen Tar as an example.
