If you want Deets check the comments on HAR mod page and my discussion with the guy managing the Mod on steam.
If you want to know the exact details of the bug in question go there and read my comments there.
Try this out: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3235960401
It's "Move Interaction Spot" by Mlie, I have zero clue if it'll work for you. But if it doesn't you could possible ask Mlie to add compatibility for this mod.
Would probably be a lot easier than have khamenman change this mod up.
*I too like the changing in front of it, makes more sense to me, but to each their own

@Alma_S I'm not sure I follow. Allow adding items doesn't affect removing, there's a separate vanilla gizmo for that
For reference @Nutella can you list any Race mods? I think it might be a race issue. I am running: Demi-fox(i think this one is causing the problem for me) ,Epona-dynasty, Yuran, Idearn.
Reason to suspect it is a race issue is that the modded races if the mod maker added them to the outfit stand adds a Race button to the Stands. From what i can tell at least for me is that the Demi-fox Race for one reason or another is set to be default for the Stands.
So if i say for instance set the stand for Epona (which have Race exclusive Clothing) and said stand is on the grave ship and said ship changes map the stand will return to default which for me for some reason is the Demi-fox mod. This causes the armor to drop from the Outfit Stand.
…until I quit the game. When I loaded it back up, every piece of armor I had placed on the outfit stands was lying scattered on the floor. No matter how much I tidy them up or change the allow/forbid settings on the stands, every time I load a save, all the items end up dumped on the ground again.
I saw in the comments that Simple Sidearms–type mods aren’t supported yet, so I tried removing them, but the issue still happens.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?
Serious question. I'm happy using you Armor Rack mod. Is this basically that mod but using the different graphic? I'm sort of lost as to the difference, if any between the two? Oh wait this requires oddyssey and your other is for non DLC peeps. Ok, THANK YOU for being so generous to we plebs.
But one of the things I would love to see is an auto changing comber or door. This is more common in some hi sci-fi stories or movies. Where before going out of an airlock the room itself cleans who is inside while also dressing them for going outside of the ship. And when they come back into the ship the airlock cleans them and removes their protective gear. They show up in other places outside of spaceships. Like clean rooms hospitals with robot arms and hands to help keep doctors clean and change gear super fast between helping intensive care patients. Or researchers working on something in a sealed lab where they can't even risk things like dust from entering or leaving the area.
Mind you, I'm not saying you or anyone else should go out of their way to make it. Just voicing what this mod reminded me of when looking at upgrade to the changing stands.
@natknut I'll see what I can do
So something that would essentially never happen under normal circumstances.
I am using the armor racks mod, only just found out this one exists, so I'm sorry if that actually has been added and I didn't know.
What will happen to the contents of these stands if they are minified? (I am not at my gaming PC, so I cannot check it myself right now).
If I recall correctly, the developers abandoned this idea because when minified, the vanilla stands simply deleted all their content.
@Turkwise I'm not opposed to removing the research projects if there's popular demand for it. I just don't see a few extra ones as a big deal. Maybe my modlist isn't big enough...
I think the Furniture tab is much more generous (unless, of course, you have a million furniture mods installed) and much less prone to conflicts with overlaps than the research tree.
The possibility of some modded research projects overlapping with others in the vanilla tree was the main reason I wrote this comment.
Had a similar problem in one of my mods, and I had to make compatibility patches to make it look good (since I simply couldn't integrate the research project with anything from the base game).
@Azazellz Some people might not want them cluttering up their Furniture tab, so they can just not research them. I don't believe it's a big deal either way
I mean, is it worth cluttering up the research tree with something as simple as an outfit stand?
Why not add Mechanized outfit stands to Machining, for example (or Microelectronics), and Mending outfit stands to Fabrication (or Advanced fabrication)?
Jarvis, thank this mod author
Simple Sidearms compatibility is definitely a must-have.
Thanks very much for the mod!
@Fluffy I might look into supporting Pocket Sand/Simple Sidearms. The rest seems a bit out of scope, sorry
Also, this is probably out of scope, but any chance we can get a patch/plugin that allows for adding other loadout-related items? I'm thinking sidearms (Simple Sidearms), medicine (vanilla loadouts), ammo (CE, Yayo), etc.
