Yes, multiplayer weapons are typically stronger than their singleplayer counterparts.
In multiplayer classes tend to have a standardized medium to high armor value; and can have perks like -20% cut damage.
Which means the weapons were balanced to have more damage.

all multiplayer items have a set value of 1 denar
so to quickly find the item you want, enable the cheat menu and sort the items by value or type
