@Olafr_the_Viking that's super weird, I'm looking at the database and it's the same price as the vanilla units so something else is going on. I'll keep looking

This mod is awesome, but my Reikland Outriders and Reikland Pistoliers costs 0 to recruit; could there be a bug in the files? I have a few pastures (reducing recruitment costs of said units), but it should not drop it to zero.

Quick info: I started a playthrough with Festus and got the refugee events + decisions regarding Carroburg.

The UI opens up even when you aren't playing as an Empire nation. I was playing as Courrone with Immortal Empires Expanded (likely relevant because a region in your starting province is owned by Marienburg, which is part of the mod's system) and continued to receive empty refugee notices.

Haven't tested it in multiplayer yet, but that could definitely be annoying lol

Thanks for the answer and also nice idea regarding the city state heraldry! I always loved the heraldry of the empire and was also a big fan of the mod for Warhammer I. So thanks again for your work, also the combination with the state troops mods - the census book is also a great and immersive aspect of your mod.

@Rheinländer, sorry for the delay--that's right!

So specifically: the AI doesn't have access to the "pooled resources" system which are needed to build the regional barracks. Instead, their vanilla units are assigned the faction specific uniform. Incidentally, this means that Karl Franz gets one extra variety of unit (the true vanilla units through the vanilla recruitment system) while Elspeth gets to recruit Wissenland skinned units through both vanilla buildings and the regional buildings.

That actually is an area I could work on: changing Karl Franz and Elspeth so they get like traditionally tabletop Altdorf and Nuln colored troops through the default barracks but tabletop Rheikland and Wissenland colored troops through the regional buildings.

Quick question regarding AI factions: For example, when Stirland recruits state troops via the normal barracks, they are automatically the regional variant? So the special barracks are just for the player to get access to them?

They're the same units stat-wise! I just duplicated the vanilla units and reskinned them for each faction, then assigned them to different buildings.

I read all that you wrote but I don't get that all these new units are just the same unit ( stat wise) and just different skins( I understand the job you done and appreciate it) or they also different in their stats and abilities
