This is IMO the best flashlight mod on the workshop. I would, however, be extremely grateful for a mod setting to use ACE's regular visible laser (just a red dot), because the IR laser style trail on the visible laser, while looking cool, is a bit unrealistic. It'd also be sweet to be able to use the IR laser and IR illum "pointer" mode at the same time.

CUP Mk23 pistol laser seems to be broken, disappears after selecting mode, which doesnt seem to have the correct modes it should either. Would be great to see that fixed

Nope, it replaces pointer item depending on selected mode. It will cause issues if other players doesn't have mod.

Yeah, vanilla-based alternatives was added instead.

At GitHub repo there is /tools directory. XLSX file stores items configuration, run_conver2classes.py python script parses xlsx and generate proper config files. You can use /addons/rhs_afrf/ and appropriate xlsx sheet as a reference. Flashlight/laser configs are defined in /addons/main and reused across compat mods, if you want you can redefine it somewhere in your compat addon.

No, this mod is an attempt to make very simple and easy to use UI to manage pointer modes. But one may reuse my code and merge it with ITN like features =)

Noticed a couple:

3) Is it possible to include ITN's laser effects and flashlight effects? this could be hard as I noticed that the lasers are switched by swapping the attachment type.
can you make the flashlights brighter its really hard to see
