Nope, it replaces pointer item depending on selected mode. It will cause issues if other players doesn't have mod.

Yeah, vanilla-based alternatives was added instead.

At GitHub repo there is /tools directory. XLSX file stores items configuration, run_conver2classes.py python script parses xlsx and generate proper config files. You can use /addons/rhs_afrf/ and appropriate xlsx sheet as a reference. Flashlight/laser configs are defined in /addons/main and reused across compat mods, if you want you can redefine it somewhere in your compat addon.

No, this mod is an attempt to make very simple and easy to use UI to manage pointer modes. But one may reuse my code and merge it with ITN like features =)
