Will sun death convert world into vacworld considering lowering temperature will remove atmosphere in a few years?

if this mod adds the moon to layered atmosphere i think it causes odyssey music to play on the ground, specifically impermanent waves

It should be the same temperature throughout. There is no atmosphere and the same amount of sunlight hits everywhere equally. There are no air currents to move warm air and cold air around, making different surface temperatures. Think about it.

Wish this would work without the Odyssey DLC as it would be nice to play with Save Our Ship 2 too.

This is such a great mod/world even the best among the current worldbuilder maps. Combine this with the crashlanding mod (the one where ship parts fall on the map) and character editor and you have a group of pawns stranded on a desolate planet sourounderd by mechs.

As i can guess having it include odysee specific points of interests/modifiers would be hard but the roleplay potential and replayability would be to the roof.

I specifically disabled the -75 degrees constant. The temperature depends on the point on the planet and your planet settings. You can simply make it cold in the world generation settings.

There is a change in unstable to remove the ability to place vac barriers on planets.
A patch was made in advance.

VFE - Empire being present in your load order will force the addition of the faction after loading. This can cause an incomplete faction leader crash with one of Brrainz's dynamic work type.

Bad Hygeine works okay with frozen cryo deposits, but all other water is gone.

Rimefeller deposits do not generate.

I had some issues pressurizing after using custom roof types and the crashed pirate ship start to VFE Pirates (generator chunk inside). Not sure if I just did something wrong but that save is lost.

No starting protection unless you use prepare carefully, so watch out if you install the hard vac mod!

The faction from the Person Mechanoids mod actually works really well with this because you can get mech trader caravans

Is there a way to enable landmarks on this world? I'm trying to go for "this was once inhabited, then got fucked, type thing.

I think if you set rainfall to as low as possible upon world creation, you won't get snow. Or at the very least snow will be extremely rare

Yes but planets are not vacuums. Plus one of many things Hollywood gets wrong space is not freezing. You would actually boil in space not freeze. So no snow.

I mean... Mars has snow. Not a lot of it, at least not unless you also count the carbon dioxide ice, but it's there. And if we're allowing other kinds of "snow", Pluto has methane snow. Neither body has a particularly thick atmosphere.

Fixed. Also now the temperature is not a constant -75 degrees but depends on the tile.

удивлён что до меня здесь не появился ни один столь же душный как я человек. В базовых свойствах биома вакуум 100%, но при этом сама планета, судя по голубой дымке, всё таки обладает слабой атмосферой. ну и конечно как уже подмечали то что здесь слабая/отсутствующая атмосфера здесь не означает что тут стабильно -75, а наоборот температура должна колебаться на примерно сотню градусов от дня к ночи, условно меж -60 и +50

At a very bare minimum - a vacsuit, enough survival meals to get you to make some basic hydroponics or some other growspot. No animals, no wild plants means you gotta rush that.

Also in the BiomeDefs file the VoidMonolith is set to not generate so it makes no sense why you would need the anomaly entities faction in the first place.

Please update the preset.xml file to remove the Entities faction from the savedFactionDefs list

Not removing it will cause issues for people who dont own anomily and frankly within the context of this planet should not have any chance of Anomaly's spawning.

I'm getting a "Faction not found: Entities" error when I try to select the world which I'm assuming is a hidden Anomaly dependency. It's preventing me from selecting the world which means I can't even remove the faction.

My preset initially contains only mechanoids and orbitals, as well as necessary factions, such as ancients. Changes are already your responsibility.

This is just a mod for a vacuum world. In my opinion, other mods should deal with issues of clothing generation and any prohibitions.

Maybe the mod could patch it so if an animal or pawn without traits or apparel granting resistance to vacuum walks onto the map they get a temporary or permanent hediff added which applies at least partial vacuum resistance?

I figure while weird doing so is probably a better fallback than some quest-generated Impid tribal wandering unto the map and immediately dying to vacuum exposure. Like, how were they fine right up until they got to the map? :D

по странной причине у меня начали появляться поселения, хотя их фракции я не добавлял, и приходят поселенцы без скафандров, и сразу умирают, как это можно исправить? (убрать прибытие пешек или сделать чтобы базовой одеждой всегда был скафандр)

After testing this out, there's a few issues.
Snow generates on each map.
Wind ambience, this should be replaceable.
Any factions put on this map won't spawn in vac resistant suits. Would it be possible to force gen them just like how pawn generation behaves in orbit?
Temperature changes would be nice.

Ребят, по хорошему лучше всегда пишите и распространяйте другим картаделам что бы делали приписку "[Worldbuilder]" в моде потому что название планеты может быть любым, а название модификации всегда одно
