Hi All
@Opolame, thanks for this amazing mod
Just to add my little contribution, especially about some crashes ppl encouter with this mod by deleting the pylon
From my experience, it seems that deleting first the connections one by one and then delete the pylon prevent the game from crashing
Hope it helps
Cya

I dont have time to fix the issue for now. if you think your save is dead due to this mod, deactivate or remove the mod and reload your latest save again, Powerlines will not be in your game.

Maybe Power Lines lane and Ziplines lane are conflict. In may case, first break Power Line building or Lane cause crash. So first break Ziplines Lane. second Save and Restart game. third break Power Line building or Lane and rebuild position where dont cause conflict. then I can continue to play.

Game crashes when trying to delete a pylon. The pylon that is (for what reason?) does not supply power...

Nevermind, didn't see the near-universal issues with crashing lol. Glad my save doesn't have them, afterall.

Would be really nice if you could add it to Greedy Builders as well, please.

Deleted my old comment, but am having the same issue as others, hoping for an update to fix this bug, backtrack a lack of power to my Water pump, find it's the power line, track it back to find the disconnect, try to delete the connection, crash, reload, try to destroy the receiving end, crash. It sucks because this mod is good. But hoping to see an update to fix it

Crashes every time I try to delete one. Uninstalled.

Also having crash problems. Power not transferring between towers (having multiple gravity batteries involved in network, not sure if this matters). Also crashing when deleting beams between connecting pylons too.

Same, Hours gone now. Regret using this mod to simplify my power network.

Ruined my game.... Started creating my endgame power setup. Had a pylon built in prep for hooking it up. Took another like 3 hours+ for my building orders to finish... At that time I found it was not transferring/sharing power with my previous system... And when I went to demolish some of it to try fix; Instant crash....every time.... Now games F'd.... And all old saves are over 3 hours old AND already have the pylon built that is crashing....

amazing idea of power transmission concept, carry on with this mod ! but please fix crashes while deleting (even unbuilt !) pylontowers, powerbeams or connections first, instead of thinking about the 3d model changes!

In my case, it didn't work and crashed the game when I tried destroying the buildins or removing the conections

I agree with Schlippy as well - if, if, you can manage to give this a spinning tower and duel-lines like the ziplines have it would probably be perfect. Still awesome though.

Oh there's nothing to change about it. I'm not asking you to. I'm just saying, for my personal headcannon of what timberborn is, it doesn't fit in. That's not a knock against you, Opolame ^.^;

problems with design of tools
Opolame  [author] 2 Aug @ 8:55am
I will try to change the design, i think of something like making the entire tower spin, but i am not a 3d modeler so will take time!

While i love the idea on practicality alone I agree with Schlippy, the power transfer feels electrical in nature whilst all Timberborn power is mechanical. The belt-drive look of the vanilla zipline would actually make more sense in universe, at least to me, maybe with some big metal chains instead of the line to extra sell that its transferring power.

So I like the idea of the mod, but I also feel like it goes against the spirit of the aesthetic of the game. Maybe that's just me though. Still a neat idea.

The Erubian Warlord 31 Jul @ 1:49am
