Scratch EVERYTHING I said previously... the mod HATES the vanilla animation for the grenade because I included this mod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3370907202 alongside a bunch of Fallout themed mods and the mod WORKED when the animation is changed...

Never mind... it might have just dawned on me why the Project HL2 pack didn't work despite using similar weapon models with the other weapon packs I was troubleshooting with, Project HL2 has it so the crowbar and grenades are lowered when pointed at allies similar to the pistol, revolver, smg, ar2, etc... the motion of the grenades being lowered is likely included in the very txt file the Ivan mod mentions.

Also, I've had bad experiences with Script Multiloader when it was combined with your vehicle mods, wither that actually had the unintended effect but whenever I got into the buggy with that mod enabled, the buggy would start flipping the fuck out as if it's clipping inside of something.

That's the thing, the current weapon packs I'm troubleshooting with are working with the mod just fine, model slightly changed (perhaps a reskin so it's not conflict with this weapon_frag.txt) but that makes me wonder why the Project HL2 weapon pack despite the same reskinned grenade (because you have no idea how common a certain creator's weapon models are used for weapon packs) didn't work.

You could also try using Script Multiloader. Maybe that'll help, though I never used it myself:

Also, the descriptions says that it replaces two sounds scripts. If they're vital for it to work, then the scripts won't load unless you either install the sound mod or a static background mod locally.

That's weird. If it's just the sounds then it should work. Did you place the sound mod above mine in the mod manager?
Or maybe it sneakily replaces the grenade model as well?

I was troubleshooting on my end with different weapon packs, I think the grenade model is what's preventing it from working with this.

Any chances of this https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3373417708 working with the grenades? Because the preview video just shows it affecting the throwing sounds which your mod doesn't change.

I've already liked all the mods XD, the only thing missing is someone making the HUD. There's a Mass Effect 3 HUD mod on Gmod :P, but is it possible to put a different HUD in HL2? I've searched a lot in the workshop and the only thing I can find are color changes. I'm starting to think that maybe the HUD can't be modified in HL2.
