The default caravan speed is atrocious and makes me never want to venture out until i get ships. This mod is absolutely godsend. thank you.

Hey I'm trying to make my pawns move faster on the map- based on genes they have.

I have "night strider" from Alpha genes, which makes them move faster at night, and slower during the day ( or in the dark/light), but calculations for "time of day" or light level don't actually seem to be done on the world map.

So this isn't working, at all- and it seems like such a waste of something that should boost my "night time" speed, and have it make sense for them to rest during the day.

Do you have any clue how to fix this? I can't seem to find anything at all for it.

Hey hey! Thanks for the update. I noticed that even though actual travel time is correct - the estimated travel time (when sending) uses the default 1 speed. Makes it harder to estimate needed resources.

@Officer Sexy Yep Vehicule does not count, im just trying to adapt the mod the patch 1.6, i will try to upgrade it for vehicule ( From Vehicule framework right ? ) and use it for the caravan. i dont know about the LAte game of odyssey and what he add, depending on what is now possible i'll try to upgrade it.

but atm i got problem with road and a change a functionnality for the roads

Ah I see my failure now. Your mod only speed up pawns, but with vehicles the speed will be vanilla.

@Officer Sexy No mod conflict known, Even compatible with "Rim of the Roads", As i saif in a earlier comment, i dont know if there is a conflict with "Caravan Speed". I guess there is because we change the same "value".
The Yellow error is just an old artifcat from one Update i made earlier, it will disappear at the next one :) it doesn't disturb the caravan speed option.
Only the Road speed is broken atm

Can't get it to work. Options are displayed in mod options, but neither changing it will change something in game nor did I see an option to let the caravan travel in night times.
Some mod conflicts known?

@dennis yes you can force ur caravan to travel, it's not like the mod called "Almost There" , the option is independant for each caravan, and you can choose to do it or not
@]Pax you have the option "Pawn speed matters" ? Strange i did a test recentl and it worked i'll try to see what happen:)

Thank you for continuing to work on the mod.

I came to report the move speed not adjusting based on pawn movement when pawns have good bionics etc. It seems that's already been reported since last time I used it and will check soon if it's been fixed in my game.

it seems 'cost of road type option' is not active. i tested only use vanilla and DLC.

I just made an update that fix the pawnspeedMatter Option, and the mass capacity too. The mass capacity of the pawn depend on the option "Caravan are immobilized when Mass capacity is ...."

After the update, the mass carry capacity of my pawns got doubled - the "mass capacity travel speed bonus" seems to control this, and turning it down to 1.0 fixes the increase.

I have a problem about "pawnSpeedMatters" option.
I tested with vanilla, harmony and only this mod, but that option is not working.

Yep, works great now! Thanks again for your efforts!! I loaded up an autosave and was able to night travel (or stop) as I should be with the toggle.

Now, if the guy making the no slave romance mod could just update I'll have my 1.5 experience back again.

Hey, I complied the info you asked for. Thanks for taking the time to work on this and maintain this mod. Note that some of your mods' functions have been included in Odyssey and I suspect this is contributing to the problem, as your mod worked flawless for me in 1.5.

Force travel has worked a few times. But weirdly enough it doesn't anymore either. No idea why. Annoying though.

@Star_moon Strange, do you have any error when you put the option on ? The option works well on my computer,
Maybe a Heavy sleeper pawn ? ( havent tried to be honest :) )
Else, share your log or modlist to see what can happen

So I'm not noticing any errors, and the mod is showing up but when I try to force march at night (the main reason I wanted this mod), nothing happens. I can check the option but my pawns continue to sleep.

Perfect guys, Have fun with the mod, and waiting if it need other update ( By example with Odyssey DLC, i added nothing and i dont know if there is "space caravan" in the dlc :D

Ok so no mod that change the speed of the caravan ( like CaravanSpeed updated by example)
Fernry dont got any conflict with this one. the 2 other One seems to only change Formation or caravan behavior.
I dont know the 2 others i'll try some test and trying to have the same error than you
My mod include a lib from Harmony, it's maybe a conflict that is made by this, i'll fix it :)

Okay so, after some tests, including reinstalling both this and harmony and starting the game only with both mods and nothing else apart from vanilla and dlcs, error persists...

Is it possible that some mod that I'm subscribed to but don't have enabled on the list is affecting the logs for some reason? I had this happen before with an error driving me crazy and it was some mod that wasn't updated but I didn't have enabled, unsubbed and the error went away.

Idk why the hell the game would look for installed mods to conflict with active ones when they are not enabled honestly.

2 and 3 use Harmony, Caravan Speed Upgrades doesn't, actually, huh.

Only other mod I can think of that should be altering caravan speed is "Caravan Speed Upgrades" which is not yet updated to 1.6 but just adds some items that when worn by all pawns in the caravan, it gets increased speed, and the 3 items stack too.

I tested the mod before and it worked fine for what it added so I left it in, later on I found this update you made for caravan options and added it, works well too, but the error shows up since then so yeah.

I'll do a couple tests now with both mods on while using the items, and also disabling the other mod, I'll report back if I find anything substantial.

@Agusfer Ty for your return, it seems like their is a conflict with one mod, your modlist seems to be HEAVY :D, i'll try to find where it can come from, do you have any other mod that change the movements on the road?
yep it's not a killing bug, it's probably due to one that use Harmony as Lib, i'll try to find a solution about it. Can you send me your modlist to find the one who conflict with and to do some tests ? :)

About french , it's my native language, it's possible i forgot some sentence with no translation :D

Red error on load from line 2454 to 2468, mod seems to be working fine from what I've tested tho, with "pawn speed matters" enabled and disabled.

Also it shows up in french for some reason lol.

if the "pawn movement" option is checked, the speed depend of the pawn movement. (injured by example) else there is a default speed

I can BARELY click on it. From the little blurb that puts up, I can tell what the option is (along with kinda being able to read the top 20% of the words or so). And I can turn it on and off. Its the option to make pawn speed matter for caravans. If there is something below that, its not showing up at all. Thanks for looking into it and thanks for the clarification.

@TheBardOfHearts Road Multiplier are applied after the caravan multiplier. And it's based on a " cost" from the vanilla game, i just change this 50% to "Overwrite" as you said :)
I'll work on it to make a better windows, you dont have the last option right?

The mod settings window is a little off. Along with that, is the 50% default being applied on top of vanilla speed bonuses? or is it overwriting it? Thanks for the mod work.
