The Beast 18 Oct @ 7:12am
@Paolini
How the fuck did you get on an asteroid in the medieval era
Paolini 6 Oct @ 8:02am
DOes someone know a mod like this but for a medieval playthrough ?
Predatitor41 5 Oct @ 5:37pm
For some reason, water gets cold in space, inside the terraformer.
Black 28 Sep @ 12:11am
Does it plants flora in the making of dirt or not? Because i have many dirt but no flora yet and all is on full capacity + settings terraforming is maxed out.
MerLatus 18 Sep @ 7:33pm
need to load after Rimefeller, or errors will occur.

has incompatible issue with the mod MultiFloors.

Disabling ProxyHeat only works until i restart the game, not sure if it's a conflict or something (i'm not using VTE)
carriertank 10 Sep @ 3:04am
there seem to be a incompatibility with VQE Deadlife, it glitch the map generation preventing some dungeon "silo" to propelly load.
Sakujo 6 Sep @ 6:49pm
Can confirm what @ArschvomDienst wrote. Putting down something like an animal sleeping spot, to heal an animal, will make it have to endure -75°C, which can kill animals that have low temperature resistance. This needs to be fixed.
Sakujo 6 Sep @ 6:33pm
It's a fully empty round place, so no wall is blocking the heat from center.
Sakujo 6 Sep @ 6:25pm
Animals with -15°C temperature resistance will freeze to death even in 25°C environment. Some sheeps with -70°C won't freeze to death.
Sakujo 6 Sep @ 5:39pm
Fantastic mod. I just wish we had a 10000% option as it takes so long and meanwhile all my animals starve before I can put them into the new base.

I have hydrophonics inside the atmosphere but it will always says "Cannot grow (bad seasonal temperature)" despite it being 25°C inside.

@Alexisrex what is wrong with you?
Alexisrex 27 Aug @ 3:42am
Useless mod thanks
TheSevenSins 25 Aug @ 11:18pm
The terraformer terraforms fertile soil into normal soil. I tried making fertile soil using reclaimed biopacks form recycling expended.
Cybranian  [author] 25 Aug @ 6:59pm
Try turn off ignoring of unnatural terrains in gui
ShiverHunter 25 Aug @ 5:12pm
so i dug out an entire asteroid and it doesn't seem to terraform the "rough-hewn" vacstone area, just the natural dug out areas.
Cybranian  [author] 21 Aug @ 9:21pm
Added a terraformer setting to ignore unnatural terrains
Moss The Tanker 17 Aug @ 12:49pm
@Kadan Joelavoch if you go into the settings for vanilla temperature expanded you should be able to turn on growing plants in proxy heat
Kadan Joelavich 15 Aug @ 12:03pm
I am also having the "outside temperature growth range" bug. I can force plants to appear with debug, but they die off due to the temperature problem (even though it says it's 77 inside the bubble).
ferny 13 Aug @ 7:51am
@Cybranian There's like a super expensive idle harmony tick when you aren't using the features of the mod, you can check it out in Dubs Perf Analyzer
Cybranian  [author] 13 Aug @ 7:45am
What do you mean by this?
ferny 13 Aug @ 6:56am
Any chance the performance overhead could be toned down
fantasia5thsymphony 11 Aug @ 8:46am
would it be possible to add an option to hide the 'terraforming zone'? the area that looks like a shield.
Red Hugh O'Donnell 10 Aug @ 12:19pm
Looks like plants still think they are out of their growing temperature range?
Planted them inside the atmospheric bubble, same shows 77F, and the are on the rich soil from an Archaen Tree. I also have VTE installed.
Skegg 9 Aug @ 9:22am
Any shot the air bubble & temperature effects could be extended to archean trees? They're kinda underwhelming compared to these in the base game.
Mbos 8 Aug @ 6:54am
@{SRI} Oracle cant you just turn of the soil part once the terraformer is done?
viirinsoftworks 7 Aug @ 11:12pm
Innocent Savage: Maybe it still thinks the ground is vacstone. What if you put an archeo tree near it so it's all Rich Soil?
Could you add an option to hide the shield effect?
Innocent Savage 6 Aug @ 8:52pm
This might be(more than likely is) a mod conflicting, but I cannot grow anything inside of the dome. Has anyone else run into this where it states the inside of the dome is 77f but the temperature is "outside of temperature growth range" for any plant inside of it?
Kritz 6 Aug @ 5:40am
Would it be possible to have the temperature within the dome set to a specific point (i.e treat it as as it’s own “room”) instead of working off proximity?
Cybranian  [author] 5 Aug @ 10:34pm
The game is initially designed for the temperature inside the room. Proxy heat with the help of the add-on partially changes the situation, but there are such incidents, as for example with eggs.
ArschvomDienst 5 Aug @ 6:46am
Addition.
It is not only egg boxes that are affected.
EVERY building has that issue.
Including simple spots i.e. markings on the ground.
PotatoTech 4 Aug @ 6:28pm
Just wanted to say, I am excited I found this mod. I have been reading through the comments for the past few days but I think I will check this out finally. I think you currently have a monopoly on this sort of content so I look forward to where you can take this.
ArschvomDienst 4 Aug @ 4:52pm
I was kind of stumped why the chicken on my asteroid are doing fine under the dome but ALL eggs came out unfertilized despite the their pen having a healthy number of males.

As it turns out the cozy temperature does not "climb" to the egg boxes, they are still a frosty -75°C meaning the eggs come out fine but are instantly flash frozen.
{SRI} Oracle 4 Aug @ 9:58am
So a issue I have discovered is if you plant a Archean tree close to the terraformer they fight over the same tile and the terraformer constantly updates and makes a nice 'soil' then the Archean tree changes it to rich soil, then repeat of terraformer changing that rich soil back to soil and so forth, effectively locking the terraformer in place and never changing anything else.
jacrispy360 4 Aug @ 9:57am
This looks fascinating
Animal 7 4 Aug @ 9:52am
afaik solar flares dont happen in space, for rimworld.
MoonshineRunner2008 4 Aug @ 6:38am
So... What about solar flares? Everything dies horribly?
GEfacr 4 Aug @ 5:29am
nice
Harry_Robinson1 4 Aug @ 5:02am
You should probably add some information about this mod's proxy heat system to the workshop page, I was so confused when I added this mod as suddenly my pawns were getting heatstroke from my electric smelters, but I was sure I didn't have VTE.
violue 4 Aug @ 4:50am
What an awesome idea!
King Zog 3 Aug @ 2:00pm
still has the floating particles inside despite no vacuum :(
Hello comrade
Cybranian  [author] 2 Aug @ 11:11pm
Technically it can work anywhere
lil niglet 2 Aug @ 11:05pm
can i use this on space platforms?
The Master 2 Aug @ 9:15pm
This should just be part of the DLC, it's that good. Incredible job.
PepperCat 2 Aug @ 8:38pm
Hello! Love this idea! One question, when you say that if Vanilla Temperature Expanded is not present, this mod deploy the ProxyHeat feature, this is only inside the terraforming OR in general as it does the other mod??
Cybranian  [author] 2 Aug @ 7:04pm
@Rohzdear

Yes, it works
Cybranian  [author] 2 Aug @ 7:04pm
@Admiralthrawnbar

Custom biomes are also being picked up
Rohzdear 2 Aug @ 5:26pm
Does the device also work on non-asteroid locations, such as on a desert, to create a little artificial oasis?
