It's very useful. With the "Steal Dagger" MOD, you can even identify stolen equipment that drops on the ground.

Sorry, I can't help you with that. To do so, you would need to develop a separate method for applying filters specifically for the mod you use when stealing.

Apparently, the mod you are using uses a different method of spawning items on the ground rather than the usual method of dropping items.
For this reason, my filters simply do not apply to these items.

I'm using another mod that triggers the steal enchantment on weapons. Because of this, I retrieve stolen items while they're lying on the ground, but the filter doesn't recognize them as equipped items, so I can't specify their rarity either.

When you click on your character with the middle mouse button. This is the auto-pickup filter. Works only with items you walk on that are lying on the ground.

I've completed the settings, but it appears the rarity filter isn't working on stolen equipment.

So, if you are carrying container with CHEST FILTERS, they will work only if you put chest on the ground and use auto dump.

If it's for auto pickup, you need to use filters for autopickup.
Container specified filters only for auto dump.

I'm carrying a container for storing equipment. How can I set the rarity level for automatically acquired gear? Even when I specify rarity in the container filter, it still picks up all equipment.

I double-checked the mod.
Everything works for me. Look, in the distribution settings, select Resource > Seed. In the auto-dump settings, “put items according to distribution settings.”

Put the seed you need into the container. If you want only this seed to be in the container, open the seed properties > This Chest's Filter > and add “Type: Seed” to the blacklist. Then add the seed itself to the whitelist.

Uhh sadly i can't check if you're doing something wrong, or if my mod broke after new stable patch of the game. I will ask my friend to check if it works.
I won't have access to pc for i think 5 days more.

I tested the mod before I left, everything worked. And on the nightly version 23.186 also tested.(I know that right now version is 23.188)

Test with something other than seeds, make an equipment container and for example, add to the blacklist helmets/torso/whatever, but a particular helmet add to the white list.

So, I put the chest on advanced distribution with resource enabled. For the container filter (gotten to by the config on the container) I have blacklisted 'Category: Resource' and whitelisted 'Item:seed of berry'. Despite this, all resources get put into the chest when I auto-dump.

My mod takes into account vanilla distribution settings, and only after that filter is applied.

Is this suppose to work for auto-dumping rules? I can't seem to get it to work if it is. Despite setting a blacklist for all resources and then only whitelisting specific seeds, the chest seems to ignore that and only look at the categories under distribution for auto-dumping.

I got this for seed organization and see what you did with the meat, but noticed it wasn't set up for the seed potentials/stat boosts. If it's too much work, no worries! (Just to be clear, I mean filtering say, silver grass with dex potential away from silver grass with str potential)

Well, I updated the mod and added some new options. If an item has the “cat” or “human flesh” property, click on it and you will be able to add “cat”/“human” to the blacklist. The same applies to item quality, tainted e.t.c.

This is honestly a neat mod. I haven't used it super heavily though. It has slightly reduced the clutter I get from dungeon runs.

That all said, one thing I was hoping for, since you have a whitelist for specific values on an item... any chance you could add similar options for item quality and (meat) properties, such as human flesh, tainted, cat, etc?

What I specifically wanted is a blacklist for those options I stated. Especially tainted and human flesh. Since human flesh in particular can have all sorts of random names that fulfill it, and that makes the most mess in storage.

I know that's not what you asked for for conflicts (I don't run too many by default, and didn't notice any).
