@Riki_I. yeah but keep in mind that you're on your own if things don't work. I'm obviously not going to support old, outdated versions
Riki_I. 7 Oct @ 2:13pm
can mods made for 1.6 in theory be run on 1.5?
turkler  [author] 7 Oct @ 12:31pm
@gunns22 the reproductives are stored on pawns as fake, hidden hediffs. can confirm from experience characters editor's system for adding/removing hediffs works just fine
gunns22 7 Oct @ 11:21am
Heya. Could I please request compatibility with Pawn-editing mods like Pawn Editor and Character Editor? I'm using Character Editor to try and make a Deltarune-themed playthrough, and Pawn creation's already hit a hitch: Genital assignment seems to be completely random. After some finagling to make custom Xenotypes for Noelle and Susie, I lucked out and got a Gestor Susie, but Noelle is a Phallor and Kris is still an Aphrodor. A little help?

I just pushed a small update to Steam, bionic reproductives now counteract the effects of age on fertility. Enjoy!
Was hoping for an omegaverse-esque mod like this for forever. Thank youuuu so much for sharing!! <3<3<3

when sprites?
turkler  [author] 3 Oct @ 10:23pm
small update today. nothing new I'm afraid, I just made some tweaks to make sure everything works fine without the ideology dlc
CritiKat 29 Sep @ 8:42pm
Love this mod!
SingularKat 26 Sep @ 8:21am
Thank you very much for making this mod! Before I found it, I had even resorted to the Forbidden Mod to have representation within my colonies. Second I found this, sent those mods straight to the bin.

Living the yuri fantasies of my dreams :kenalove:

@Vespi it does yeah
Vespi 24 Sep @ 9:00am
I've been looking for something to replace the Herm Gene mod for a while, time to see if it works with Gendered Genes.
NoOne_ReaVen 24 Sep @ 4:09am
Okay here we go.... Femboy and Futa supremacy... im not sorry
turkler  [author] 22 Sep @ 7:20am
@Eugénie the new body types from big and small are patched to work with this mod, yeah
Eugénie 22 Sep @ 5:27am
big and small?
Penis Warlock 22 Sep @ 3:02am
I implore you to slowly re-read "I find gestor female and phallor male to be medicalized woke language that erases man and woman." and when you find the part of the sentence that provides evidence against the 'erasure' you may then begin the 'common sense' part of the conversation in the space game the mod is for where Baseliners (not humans, TW: 'medicalized' race) are genetically modified into numerous different species in its lore.
turkler  [author] 20 Sep @ 6:50am
@DeluvianSenecca ''old school woke vibe'' hell yeah :VSnake: we were woke before it was cool
DeluvianSenecca 19 Sep @ 3:38am
phallor male sounds insanely woke. if you dont like woke gender bending and „gestor females” or „gestor males” then dont subsribe to this mod. its that old school cringy woke vibe
KurtHussein 18 Sep @ 9:52am
Sorry nvm saw the discussion solving this problem
KurtHussein 18 Sep @ 9:43am
Would love to see a nice health tab integration! Because reproductive organs visually are located at spine :stoneshardunholy:
turkler  [author] 17 Sep @ 1:24am
@overgrown palico I am what you would call a dummy idiot. should be fixed now, thanks for the report!
this update also brings integrated implants integration
overgrown palico 16 Sep @ 1:48pm
Found the issue. You forgot to delete the pigskin compatibility assembly from the main assembly folder after copy pasting it into another folder with loadfolders restrictions. So it's always being loaded regardless of loadfoldes restriction.
overgrown palico 15 Sep @ 7:19pm
huh, I'm getting a new red error on startup related to VRE pigskins... except that I don't even have that mod downloaded. I see that there was a recent update regarding pigskins here? Could that be the fault?
Sera 15 Sep @ 6:13pm
@Psyckosama
xenotype should work default. if you mear HAR check compatability matters disscussion
Sera 15 Sep @ 6:11pm
@Zero Tachikoma
useing an ovum yes. but they can't just lovin themselves. At least from what i have found.
Zero Tachikoma 13 Sep @ 8:25pm
Are aphrodors capable of self-cloning?
Psyckosama 11 Sep @ 3:02pm
any chance of compatibility patches for other xenotypes as well?
Crazzlo 10 Sep @ 1:25pm
I have a question regarding compatibility with a certain mod that is very infamous. Could this work at all, with the forbidden mod? The one on Loverslab.
Snekenjoyer6 8 Sep @ 11:07am
Y'know, i feel like this should cause WAY more pain whenever the reproductives gets damaged or destroyed
Sera 5 Sep @ 3:33pm
Not sure if this is intended but if you have a pawn that can regrow missing parts and for whatever reason they lose the bits they don't grow back. i assume it's because they could have male or female and might not know what to regrow but why wouldn't it default to regrow base sex?
turkler  [author] 4 Sep @ 9:50am
@lpoxb pawns only get assigned reproductive parts at pawn generation so any pawn generated so far will miss reproductives
this can technically be fixed with character editor by just adding the reproductive hediffs and those will automatically plugged into the system, problem is that you have to do this for *every* pawn, including all world pawns, if you wan things to work right
lpoxb 3 Sep @ 11:42pm
What are the problems when you installed it in mid save? Can it be fixed with dev mod or character edit?
turkler  [author] 30 Aug @ 1:55pm
@Fuu not only are you wrong but doing so would obliterate any ongoing save
Fuu 29 Aug @ 7:20am
@turkler thanks for checking it out. I think the errors are because Reproductives are placed under corePart/parts/Pelvis, which in the core game for some reason belongs to the group Torso, forcing these to default to being covered by shirts etc. If you instead placed Reproductives one level up, under the corePart/Torso, and then assigned the group Legs, you might be able to do everything you need without all the extra code. Something like:

<xpath>Defs/BodyDef[defName="Human"]/corePart/li[def="Torso"]</xpath>

I might be wrong but it could save you time and maintenance in the future.
turkler  [author] 28 Aug @ 9:18pm
Small update today.
Changelog:

- Reproductives apparel coverage has been redirected to prefer apparel that cover the pelvis/legs instead. There's some code stuff behind the scenes making this work so let me know if this breaks anything.
turkler  [author] 28 Aug @ 8:59pm
@Fuu your suggested change causes a bunch of errors like:
Config error in Empire_Fighter_Trooper: required apparel can't be worn together (Apparel_FlakVest, Apparel_FlakPants)
and also breaks pawn apparel generation
turkler  [author] 28 Aug @ 8:51pm
@Fuu I already have an autopatcher that adds reproductives coverage to all apparel covering the pelvis but I'll take a look
@Tyrant there's already a different mod that allows you add gendered versions of any gene to xenotypes and that should work with gender works
@Rubus all the text used in this mod are exposed as translateable strings so you could change them by suppliyng your own english strings
Fuu 28 Aug @ 5:52am
@turkler Hey! This is great work. One thing I noticed is that reproductives get covered by shirt, and not by pants. You could add <li>Legs</li> to the <groups> list in 1.6/Patches/Body_parts.xml to group them with legs, which should fix this. Then wearing e.g. flak pants will actually help protect your delicates :)
stupid moron 24 Aug @ 10:34am
im sooo fking stupid!!! i got so excited to make all my twink ratkin boys become mpreg that i didnt read that this was unsafe to put in mid-save... i spend 2 days trying to figure out that this mod is what was causing my twinks to become neutered!!
shady 23 Aug @ 8:29pm
finally mpreg
mëghr 23 Aug @ 4:35am
can you make an option where is only male or female? but with an organ hediff
Rubus 22 Aug @ 8:22pm
Is it or could it be possible to change the terms used in the settings? Like the 'aphrodor' and 'phallor' etc.
Tyrant 22 Aug @ 5:45pm
Could you make it so the reproductive genes can be gendered? Like the gene causes a reproductive to only be applied to a male pawn?
turkler  [author] 22 Aug @ 5:02pm
A small compatibility patch is now out!
Changelog:

- Patched the Mousekin Race mod.
- Patched the Kurin Meow Edition mod.
othtim 22 Aug @ 7:49am
rimworld omegaverse
LilLizardWizard 22 Aug @ 2:44am
hello, and thank you for the wonderful mod! i saw that some HAR races still need to be patched, and just wanted to report that mousekins (Mousekin Race by sumghai) spawn without reproductives, but they can be added with hediffs with no issue!
thechroniclerofchaos 21 Aug @ 9:17pm
quick dumb question but what do I have to do in character editor to change a pawn's reproductive organs?
JACK 21 Aug @ 6:27am
excited for this update! thank you!
turkler  [author] 21 Aug @ 1:51am
@JACK configurable in mod settings now!
turkler  [author] 21 Aug @ 1:51am
A small update to Gender Works is now out!
Changelog:

Added new mod settings, you can now determine a chance for pawns to spawn with the other gender's reproductive parts instead! Setting these chances to 100% works exactly as you'd expect.
Biosculptors will no longer 'restore' genitals if they're not actually missing.
