Man, I searched through those 26k textures, and just converted them all to .pngs to make it easier to search through. It did take me a week to texture that model.

Imo painting is easier than searching through ~20 000 unnamed images while trying to match every texture map. At the same time Fatshark made textures are obvliously better cause they were baked from high poly models. So if you have time and HDD space go for it

I recently ripped a model from Darktide the Textures were a pain in the ass to find, but i was able to get them. How'd your ripping go, and was making the textures from scratch easier, then texture ripping?
