once you get your praetorians, simply sacrifice a city to create a nest. They'll turn int a new regular queen.

how do i make a second queen that's not aquatic or fly i have not found a way to make a charger idk if that's how you do it

Is the Charger supposed to not have a weapon? I do see the Trample 7 value, but it seems strange that their only source of damage would be *just* Trample.

made a patch for it, just working a bit more on them before rolling it out. Dont worry i found a port and did a full test on it.

the aquatic queen should have their own ritual list i already tested it before hand so not sure why its not working now.

so i cant help but notice that the flying queen has the stationary tag, and the aquatic queens ritual list has no rituals, other than that im loving this

So it seems that it's still possible for a new Praetorian to evolve into an empress under said circumstances. BUT - I didn't get any errors til now, and I think I've played a bit further than last time, so that's great :steamthumbsup:
Maybe to mitigate the problem, you could make a new terrain named "Xenomorph Nest (Empty Lair) as a "in-between-state". I think I've seen similar use of those in other mods. That way you won't trigger another evolution, because the evolution only happens with the "empty lair"-variant, which no longer exists.
Though I have to say that events are the sector in coe5 modding I'm least competent in, so there might be a way more elegant way to handle this.

Not really clear on why exactly it happened, but I noticed something else not working as intended (at least I think so?) which might relate.
When I wanted to collect some units from another Hive, it transformed into a subservient empress, while still having a subservient queen present. My Matron wasn't even in the 3rd form at that point.

Otherwise I really love the Idea and will be watching your progress with great interest.

the warriors are supposed to have the better stats, drones are more like the cannon fodder that overtime turns into warriors.

Could you check the stats for drones and warrior, somehow the warrior have better attacks then the drones?

@Fabian, thanks for the ideas. There's already ways to make new hives, you just gotta evolve your queen and then get a Praetorian. They're also used to replace your queen if the queen dies, just move a Praetorian onto your home tile.

Great idea, here some comments: the xenomorhps are glasscanon-ish (which is a good thing for the balancing), you should move the facehuggers to the front (in the back they never got any chance to convert minions), you should add an option to build further hives (or the long way between front and egg legging will breck the neck of the faction in the long run) and to recruit/ lay eggs for addtional queens, as the queen will mostly stay behind on egg laying duty and defending the hve
