I'm not sure why you're having framerate issues with some of these guns, I'm sorry. They're not much more complex than anything else I've made/seen like it so unfortunately I don't have anything for that.
The reason they're all bullet guns is twofold: one, I like the simplicity of just clicking on people. Two, I'm pretty asset limited with this game, I don't know how to make new particles/sprites/projectiles/lasers/etc. without diving deep into creating my own textures/sprites and I'm no artist. If I had the ability to make Ratchet and Clank or Enter the Gungeon sweps...
I certainly could look into different secondaries yeah, I kinda autopiloted into semi/auto.
Lastly, I used CSS weapons this time because I did only HL2 for another weapon set, figured I'd change it up.
overall your guns for this mod is oddly satisfy to play
love the random object jam into those gun however frame rate for half the weapons do drop when use
since all the gun have a sci fi look why not go all out like for all weapon as for now only 'Yo-Ho me hearties' do something unexpected
how about a train launcher or npc with too much health launcher
I suggest give all a secondary fire mode for all weapon that does something more wild let say a machine gun change firemode to fire like shotgun that exploded
lastly I love the reload animation but is it possible to try other animation like HL2 AR2
