Awesome, yeah I think they updated something on the back end that messed with it, I really like the idea of being able to add darker shadows to scenes though.

Wow didn't even think this mod was still being used, the bloom effect I believe came after the release of this mod. I'll see what I can do about the bloom

The visual are interesting but the bloom make a person with perfect vision understand how does it feels to need to use glasses, can you change the bloom?

I have bad memory. Luckily enough, I did actually do it. I just forgot to say anything about it. It's working as intended, dunno what happened earlier. Thanks for the awesome mod, we've needed it for a long time.
Honestly though, this is a beauty. Absolute dark at night, and the sun isn't so bright.

By all means this is no trouble at all, I can't expect the weather to change and by dry at the same time :D I have made some changes to the mod to match the new update and remove some unnecessary code.

Thanks! And, sorry I've not gotten to this again, it completely escaped my mind. I'm in the proccess of going to bed, so yeah. I'll test if it's working for me or not tomorrow. If it isn't, I'll give you the mods.

RelicSage, I am dearly sorry for not getting to this. I've been on vacation this week, and only just got back to the computer. I'm going to quickly test it now. Funny thing is is I remember using the mod about an hour before the patch that "broke" it. It worked just fine. Then I used it after the patch and it stopped working. And I must've had at least twenty other mods with that world, I'd rather not put you through the pain of testing each one. I can still say, one of my favorite mods, even though it doesn't seem to work for me.

I have tested the mod in the current version as of 05/25/2017 and works just fine :D @Bepsi can you explain how it's failing to work for you? If possible, can you tll me what mods you are running with at the same time you run this mod?

Oh, and a question: is it possible to reduce the brightness of the characters own lamp? I think it is a bit too strong.

Hm, the Mod is great so far, but there is a strange behavior: sometimes dark shadowed areas are much brighter and when i look at them longer it reduce the brightness over many seconds slowley back to the normal darkness.

Standard speed limitation in SE is 100 m/s / this particular mod increases that speed to 1000 m/s. However, the calculations for the collisions if you were to slam into another object would not calculate proper causing your vessel to appear undamaged inside voxels or blocks.

Now that skyboxes can be ported to Dx11 is this compatible or going to be any time soon? This one is one of my most favorite ones.

It is just built into the game engine itself, i hope they fix it. Once i noticed it, it started to bug the hell out of me.

I've done some research and found that I myself nor other mod creators are able to overcome this obsticle. So I will not make any changes to this mod however I will creat a Drker Shadows Mod without speed enhancements and link it here. :D

Thanks for the feedback this is just a testing phase and will seperate both of these mods...Honestly I was a little lazy and compelled to get fast results :D I will be making the changes shortly :D

Uhm yeah didn't notice because I'm still using an old world, but I still don't think it's the greatest idea to include a speed mod with this. Like just having the shadows be really dark is enough on its own. Also I kinda like the slower speeds, as some ships can be difficult enough to controll as it is.

Load it as a normal bod, make sure you don't have any other skybox mods enabled as they'll conflict with eachother

JTS I'm not sure whats going on your end, the image was saved using steams screenshot feature, with compression enabled. It's format in HD and looks just fine. Can you be more specific or your more than welcome to send me a link to the image your seeing. I want to see everyone enjoying my mods :D

also the skybox is good. but texure-quality is the horror. It looks like you saved a picture in 8 or 16-bit colors with bad quality
