Got it to work. The issue I was having was because it requires png images rather than jpg images for previews. I'll write up a guide and post it.

Sadly I don't know if I can help. I used this program once. It was mention to delete old projects before changing the number of the game in the file. That's all I know.

I was able to get the Steam Workshop Uploader from github and am trying to write up instructions for adding tags but I cannot get past "Validating mod pack..." when I hit Submit. I'm not sure why nothing seems to be happening. The json is updated and if it is a new item a blank NWN2EE item is created in the Workshop under my account. What did you have to do to make it work?

Only Swashbuckler is missing in that mod.

Incidentally there is another mod I found that also alters the starter chest: https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/other/nwn2-oc-starting-equipment-fix

I found the github link to the Steam Workshop Uploader and will try it out. Thanks. I'd like to use the tags though it isn't critical.

I think having your item separate chest makes sense since some people will shy away from using my Complete Makeover. More choices is good. I just don't want someone using my mods to complain that they are broken when the reason is a conflicting mod. I found that the time to troubleshoot such things can be extensive and I did all of that 12 years ago.

Your scripts are fine but your installation instructions could be improved. Nothing you have needs to be in any folder except override and there is no need for subscribers to move anything because NWN2 EE will look in the folders that workshop creates for content.
Steam Workshop Updater? How did you get that?
Check the discussion in the workshop where I did send a link to Nexus.
Someone helped me there.

Nice... I wouldn't mind if my version would become obsolete because... I'm not good at scripts.

My Complete Makeover also makes the following changes to this same chest:
There is a chest for provisioning in the initial room at the start of Act I. The chest has been enhanced to include the recipe books, a Campaigners Guide that explains features of the Makeover, a few coins of life, and recognizes the player classes introduced in MoTB and SoZ. The chest will provide equipment when opened by the main PC and any created party members.

If you have the Makeover installed and also subscribe to this mod then this mod will override the Makeover.

Can confirm that I've had this installed and had at least the first two achievements pop.
hello, does this disable achivements?
No idea. Most likely it doesn't.

I'm not sure how steam accepts subscribed items up here. You can always subscribe it, copy files and then unsubscribe. Put those files in specific folder mentioned in the description and then go play. It shouldn't affect the achivements in this way because game has to read files from Override folder no matter what.
Dang, how'd you get tags working?
I used the SteamWorkshopUploader to even upload the file, I just have written down possible tags... and there it is.

Thank you so much for putting in the effort!

Cheers, well done! I'll proceed to delete the other version then.
