@EcoCobra - that's a good question. My gut feeling is 'I think so'. Before I fixed it so it didn't put a photo on there at all, it was using the last photo in the array so it's probably feasible to randomise it and put it under an mcm toggle or something. Ill add it to the pile!

Suggestion for a feature: on post-mission Skyranger view (with the stats screen), could we show random old posters if you didn't take a photo for the mission? Excellent mod!
Cyber Von Cyberus 14 Oct @ 6:06am
Hell yeah !

This will now work with stable highlander - I've adjusted notes & required items accordingly :)
EvilBob22 10 Oct @ 8:52am
You should only have one of them, they will conflict with each other. The beta 1.30 is the 1.29 version with experimental additions. So, anything asking for 1.29 highlander should also work with 1.30 beta highlander.
Mr.ArigatouSan 10 Oct @ 5:46am
Should users have only Highlander v1.3 Beta? Many of the mods Ive downloaded ask for v1.29 so I currently have both
BlackDog  [author] 5 Oct @ 1:16pm
@Saul I'll look into it - it may need some kind of hook to be added to MOCX proper & the author of that mod is not so active any more but I'll ask around and see what can be done.
Saul 5 Oct @ 2:37am
Can you also disable MOCX as EXALT auto poster and Head shot update when changing armor?
Tunse 20 Sep @ 2:01am
Right, I must've been confused when I typed that. :O
Circe 19 Sep @ 12:34pm
you'd need the stable release to be updated to have a chance of that, not the beta...
Tunse 19 Sep @ 12:28pm
Hello, I noticed that the beta was recently updated. Is it still required for this mod (I checked the notes but I'm not sure what to look for) or can I use the stable CH now? Thanks in advance.
william09703 13 Aug @ 8:52pm
Ok, I figure it out. It was because AML applying the files from stable version, probably causing by verifying during update. I deleted stable version, now it's all working again.
BlackDog  [author] 13 Aug @ 10:13am
There shouldnt be any changes in the most recent beta that change this but mods can override the CHL behaviour with MCOs, the only ones I'm aware of are after action extended and configurable headshots, both of which override the bit that takes the auto memorial photo when a soldier dies but I'm not aware of many that override the others. It would depend on your modlist - I'd advise standard troubleshooting steps first, clearing configs etc. but will look into it more if I get other confirmed reports.

Finally I don't have to delete all those posters to contain my OCD and I can use Psi Overhaul!
Hunter 18 Jul @ 6:13am
FYI this also stops your storage space being filled up so if you have low storage space this helps even more
Sandboxhead 16 Jul @ 9:02pm
LMAO! "0 Combined Kills! Let's celebrate with a crap selfie!"
Underdawg 16 Jul @ 12:09am
This looks like a great mod! I wanted to try something like this, but I got put off by how huge of task it seemed to be (I settled for a simpler solution myself). Great work!
rich1947p 15 Jul @ 8:42am
Thanks for the response. Will change to yours.
Cyber Von Cyberus 15 Jul @ 12:49am
Oh thank god, finally a version of this that is compatible with my other mods.
BlackDog  [author] 14 Jul @ 12:29pm
Link fixed - also added the BETA CHL to list of required items for now, until it gets pushed to stable
MrCloista 14 Jul @ 9:17am
@rich1947p this doesn't have that mod's compatibility issues, and also actually works properly rather than inconsistently.
MiZta_Z0mbie 14 Jul @ 8:39am
Thanks a ton for this. I finished a campaign and realized the space on my HDD was packed to the brim with files. Took me a while to figure out that it was because over 7GB of it was from automatically generated posters from the game since I first started played years ago.
rich1947p 14 Jul @ 8:16am
How does this differ from Disable Random Posters?
Alastor The Puppet 14 Jul @ 5:29am
That does not change the fact that the link is broken. If the link is there then it should work.
Alecthelm 14 Jul @ 5:27am
@Alastor the Puppet
simply erase one of the HTTPS TAas from the link in your Browser.
Alastor The Puppet 14 Jul @ 1:56am
Please update the link in the notes section. It is flagged as malicious by steam. It's probably pissing itself because of the two parenthesis
Hyakkoudoggo 13 Jul @ 10:49pm
hmmm tempting , atleast i can make my own posters
Fuedrakia 13 Jul @ 9:22pm
I could kiss you....I mean I wont, but I could kiss you for this, and the fact that I now realize there was never something like this before now is bizarre to say the least.
Soul 13 Jul @ 12:46pm
Lmao that one was the worst for real
"Do you wanna make a poster for the bond"
Click No
"Ok I'll make my own then"
Bruh I said no!
BlackDog  [author] 13 Jul @ 11:43am
Yeah - the automatic photo generation is kind of spread around the in-game code so without doing stuff in CHL it would rely on a lot of invasive MCOs. The whole thing has annoyed me for a while - I'm pretty sure the promotion auto-photo just takes them at specific ranks and doesn't even bring up a dialog box mentioning it. The bonding auto-photo is created even if you click 'no' on the popup dialog that asks if you want to create one.
Ayser 13 Jul @ 11:18am
Surprised this didn't exist before. It is kinda annoying that the game just does it without prompting.
horsepowerYT 13 Jul @ 11:04am
thank the gods
mhmtkfz 13 Jul @ 10:31am
I don't know why, but the quality of the photos is low after they are taken. Is it possible to fix this?
