Honestly I don’t like standart setting of night. And day trail of your character is meh. BUT! I try lights and shadow and this ok, but oh my god how terrible night is looking and it’s can’t be changed. This mod is far better, you can change literally every setting and it really helpful and makes night looks good, but there is one problem. You can’t change the moon setting aside sun, and if you want your night looks good when the sun is arose you need to increase radius of the sun is back. In my opinion this mod is such underrated and have a very big potential. Good optimization and community support. Hope it be more popular

here i thought this mod would brake my computer when mixing this mod with lights and shadows and realistic sky but no, apparently it makes the background more life like than i thought

和Loot Beams战利品光束有点冲突啊，会让掉落物周围的光多一个黑色方块，光束也变成了黑色长条。那个光看着也有点怪，怎么让室内的NPC也会有被月光照着的阴影效果啊，太怪了。其他好评

Try using the vanilla texture. If the issue persists, please let me know which mods you've installed. However, if the problem is caused by the texture pack itself, it may be challenging to resolve.

the black flicker would be yield by some mod ,like LootBeamsMod.
and just closed the switch of config of LootBeamsMod -> [brighter beams]. then the black box will be disappear

i dont know what it is now but i have no resource pack enabled and i still get a black flicker

i think it broke with polaris and stormdark

i am trying calamity texture pack by itself now

it glitch and does black flicker sometimes every 4 or 5 minutes

according to other user s reflection,it can compatible with realistic sky.
but seems im not sure if it can work with other resource pack as well

i joined a friend's game with it and it disabled because the host didn't have it enabled. it can't be run without the host having it too, unlike other mods like this which only make visual changes

@darwinxd i read its code, seems it s hard to solve bcaus there r some conflicts with my code of Shape of Light .so the best way is not to use HDR mode or deactivate one between them.

Looking further into the glitch, it only happens with the HDR rendering on Fancy Lighting
More specifically, when HDR rendering is on basic or full and the sunlight from Shape Of Light is activated
Besides that, the mod works completely fine

Yo, there's a weird glitch with another mod called Fancy Lighting where if you have Fancy activated, Shape of Light disables background automatically, if you made it compatible with it / fix it i'd appreciate that a lot!

More details on this glitch is that, this doesn't happen when disabling the main lights with the master switch

Besides this, this mod is just an overall better version of Lights and Shadows mod, keep up the good work!

if you made this compatible with loot beams. That'd be sick bc whenever their is a loot beam their is a black box around it. but besides that this is a sick mod and is already better than light and shadow in my opinion. this lighting mod has crazy potential.

@h its a rectangle which display the color of the sun.just close the configUI and inventory to close it.

I don't have any other mods activated and it doesnt work, seems like theres a issue

wont work for me. A weird box with Chinese text appears in the bottom left whenever i try to mess with the configs settings, tried to change my lighting mode to white and color and nothing changes, weird.

@insolentrootrat did u set the configs or do anything?,sun effect would be faded when behind cloud or other obstacels.or there s a prossible reason is that u activated other mod and made conflict.

um it doesn't do anything for me. Am I doing something wrong? I just activated it but nothing

光是被什么东西挡住，效果就完全消失了。
也许效果会不那么逼真，但看起来会更酷。
