Well, I mean Shalmeneser would've probably tried to kill any legit dudes, but hey, this area, except for some archaeology and the name of the place is very obscure, so you can be Šavkirta, take Winte... Washukanni, declare yourself modestly the King of the Universe and then see who dares challenge your 'legitimate' birth :D
