did you know that the zombies in half life 2 are in fact fully conscious and aware of what's happened to them. They don't have control of their motor functions as the Headcrab controls that part, however the host (victim) still has their own thoughts. Next time you see a Zombie and kill it, just know that you are doing them a favour by putting them out of their misery. :headcrab:

an idea of a headcrab cult that worships headcrabs as their gods and believe they are somehow 'saved' through being zombified would actually be a really interesting, creepy concept in-lore for half life.

That's actually a good idea for Commander to pursue, make mods related to Dead Space because you can easily turn the Combine into the fanatics from DS3 and the zombies and headcrabs from varies necromorphs.
