That’s kind of interesting. Calamity disables the mod entirely because what Calamity used was further in the alphabet. You learn something new every day! Anyways, thank you for fixing it!

Could you try to make a setting that lets you choose if you want both tooltips at the same time?:

I can confirm that one change fixed the issue with Calamity. A better solution would probably be for Calamity to add an option to disable speed relabeling, but who knows how easy that'd be.

i did not know tmod loaded mods like that, that's really good to know. I just changed it.

Looking at Calamity's source code (which is publically available on Github), it unconditionally sets every speed tooltip to use different thresholds for each label.
That would be fine if this mod ran after calamity, but... b is before c in the alphabet, so "BetterAttackSpeedTooltips" loads and does its modification to the tooltips, and then "CalamityMod" loads overwriting anything the prior mod did.
This should be fixable by just adding `sortAfter = CalamityMod` to `build.txt`.

maybe calamity changes something about tooltips, and that is overriding this mod

I'm really not sure why, but this mod just stops working with all items in Calamity. I checked, filtered all items by tooltip with "uses per second" and the only results still did not have the attack speed tooltip changed. I was trying it with 60 other mods, and Calamity was unfortunately the only one I had to disable

i think it'd be nice if it was different depending on the item, like terra blade or swords would be "swings", guns would be "bullets", bows would be "arrows", so on so forth
