the teleporters to get to the teleporter planet doesn't show up. the POI just doesn't generate on my home planet.

And I did it again... started a new world, two research portals were available, both contained the blastshot maker and meteor blaster

Might possibly be due to the cluster generation manager, which I used to make this world and max it out (almost 1 million tiles)...

I did not directly tamper with the mod packages, no. I can't think of anything I added that would indirectly tamper with it, either. I'm not sure what is causing your issue, sorry.

A question about mod conflicts: I use the mod "Duplicant Stat Selector" and have changed the care packages (There is a config file to do it yourself in the mod). This all was no problem until I began to use your mod. Now the care packages always reset if I load a game. Did you change the packages in any way or maybe are they touches in another way with your mod?

So. Many. Sporechids! This is probably the first map I have played where sheer distance logistics become important. I have a lot of fun encountering all the different things and incorporating them into my colony, I have a lot of anxiety trying to find that first renewable water source every time!

@sepruecom That's strange. I'm looking through the worldgen file right now and there's only one generation each of the Relica and Ceres research portals in the code. It should only be generating one of each.

@Arysto The distant asteroids being absent is intentional. Can you please elaborate on how else the mod is not working?

@ham This mod is compatible with Cluster Generation Manager, which I believe should allow you to customize the geysers that appear during worldgen. Alternatively, you could manually edit the mod's world generation file under worldgen/worlds/VanillaOmnificia.yaml to force an Iron Volcano to spawn. If you look for the section called Curated Geysers you can fiddle with that.

Nevermind my last message, I've now updated the mod so that the Relica Research Portal will now appear near the start instead of needing to be found in some random location.

@Papa4Five The Demolior event is enabled by default, so yes, it should be heading toward your planet. However, you will need to find and activate the Relica Research Portal in order to see Demolior's impact range. You can find it somewhere in a garden biome, within 4 hexes of start. Unfortunately, I didn't have a better way to place the Relica Research Portal, so you may have to explore the map some more to find it.

I do recommend playing with Demolior set to 300 cycles instead of 200 cycles in the difficulty settings, to compensate for the added difficulty of finding the research portal.

mmh, i am a bit confused (which is easy). does the demolior event (meteor) spawn in this mod automatically or do i have to activate it somehow. cannot find the story start thingy and the crater impact range on the map, but read that the meteor does come. please untwine my head and tell me what is up. tks

I'm wondering, i'm 600 cycles in my game, but haven't had a gassy mooteor yet. (but all other meteors appeared once already). Is it a bug or just bad luck, or they are more rare? the original gassy moos on the map died of old age just before calling another one in my ranch

@Gotgot Upon further investigation, it seems to be an odd side-effect of the Frosty Planet Pack. Planetoids tagged as being part of that DLC use the old data bank design for some reason.

appreciated i didn't realize it was a setting in the modifier settings thought it was just always at standard. I've used the difficulty modifier on a run like 2 times in my 1k+ hours since early access release, apologies.

The Geothermal and Demolior story trait mods do not interact with Omnificia. It looks like Sgt_Imalas coded them to not interact with any worlds that already have those story traits enabled by default.

As for alternative starting biomes, that's definitely something I've considered and have on my "maybe later, if enough people would like it" docket.

I wonder how/if it works with the "Demolior story trait" mod (which in theory should be able to trigger the asteroid regardless of biomes). I will test that later...

Also, speaking of which: It would be great to have variations of this map mod, with Ceres or PPP biome starts ;-)

@sepruecom I try to generate the Research Portal within 4 hexes of the start. Unfortunately I can't force it to spawn closer than that, as there's no guarantee a Garden biome will spawn that close to the start. Even at 4 hexes there's still a small chance a Garden biome won't spawn and worldgen will fail.

As noted in the README, I recommend playing with Demolior set to arrive in 300 or 500 cycles instead of the default 200, to give yourself a little more time to either find the Research Pod or just discover the tech on your own.

so the research portal for Demolior goes _somewhere_, on the entire map. It is practically impossible to find it (in one of my tests it was around 200 blocks away from the printing pod, roughly 25° upper-right). If you then enlarge the asteroid via cgm, it can get even further away (hey, at least one gets to play a 900x800 size asteroid).

So this map is probably incompatible with the asteroid aspect of the prehistoric planetary pack, unless you really want the asteroid to hit your base...

@Lynxian I have not modified Demolior's timer, but you can easily do it in the game's difficulty settings (and I do recommend doing such in the README file).

@Swoop It will work with CGM but bear in mind this planetoid is huge and specifically balanced around being the only planet in its cluster in terms of game performance. If you add it to other worlds I take no responsibility for your computer exploding.

can i use it with a cluster mod to add it to the pot ?? i llove to have large starmap with alot on them i would put this asteroid far from my starter that way i can be sure to cross path with 52B and the niobium volcano and its looking very nice to have such diversity on a single one asteroid
