The catch is, even if you set "all mods disabled" to No in the configuration, the game will ignore that and the mods are still disabled, at least in my case. As some authors of other mods for 2.0 mention in their mods description, you have to manually edit the "initial_config_win.cfg" file, change the "set disable_mods" line to 0. The file can be found in "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Riftbreaker\conf" directory.
If you change the cfg file, the mods are suddenly running fine. So I suggest you should add this warning to the mod description too. Check the "radar pulse range increase 2" mods description for example.
Im playing on the co-op open beta version of the game.
EXE : 1037 DATA : 649.
Ill ask around in discord in case somebody has an idea why it doesnt work.
Update : Ive been testing it on different version of the game and ive been testing the old ones on the new version. It crashes or loads the game, but the mod glitches. Though the slots are there, unuseable, but there. Makes me wonder... Are your mods turned on ? I know its stupid but in the newer version of thegame they are turned off by default until you turn them on via launch configuration or file configuration so you dont have to turn it on manually every time you launch the game.
...well, I just tried to start a multiplayer game (survival) and the game still ignores the mod, and I have only 4 slots in co-op too. So this isn't the problem either.
If 2 mods edit the same file/s one of the mods will not load. Probably based on placement in mod list.
I also made a +14. If both of you try it and it doesnt work for you then there might be a different issue that i need to check.
