Ohh I see, thanks for the reply, really appreciate it :D.

they can't update your world. it has to come from the same computer that uploaded the original file. contributors are added afterwards by an author, but they don't have full control over the item and it's mostly just for recognition.
Cpt_Esquilo 17 Jan, 2017 @ 6:15pm
Great Addon BTW, very cool :D
Cpt_Esquilo 17 Jan, 2017 @ 6:14pm
I would like to make a question, kinda off-topic, but I see that you have a contributor, and I would like to know, I have a server and I share with my friends , but when they upload the server to workshop, it goes to their workshop library, when it should update my original post. Could you explain how they could upload the world save, updating my post and not creating one of theirs?
Lord Commissar  [author] 8 Mar, 2015 @ 5:46pm
yes, if you modify the timer blocks, sensors, and piston speed, you could speed it up. it's all designed to work in realistic settings, which is of course much slower
dresoccer4 8 Mar, 2015 @ 4:38pm
ohh, i assumed that was only for realistic mode. i made a blueprint and copied it over to my creative mode world, and assumed the build time would be much quicker. is there a way to speed it up, possibly by modifying the timer blocks? if there isn't, no worries. thanks for your quick feedback
Lord Commissar  [author] 8 Mar, 2015 @ 4:12pm
refer to the update notes at the top
Lord Commissar  [author] 8 Mar, 2015 @ 4:11pm
no, the process takes 27 minutes for a mantid, 22 minutes for a wasp
dresoccer4 8 Mar, 2015 @ 4:07pm
hm, i still don't think i'm getting it. i load up the world, go into the carrier and press 1to turn on the projector, 2 to start the welders (which finish in about 10 seconds?), but there are still parts of the fighter that aren't welded, it seems like the projector piston is too low...and this is where i get lost
Lord Commissar  [author] 7 Mar, 2015 @ 2:57pm
bringing the projector piston to its minimum extension would be the first step, but it's also supposed to be the default state of the factory. by "ensure" i mean that you will want to make sure that things are as they should be already, and if not, fix it.

after the grinder, simply enter the cockpit and fly out
dresoccer4 6 Mar, 2015 @ 9:49pm
couple questions, you say the build order is projector, welder, grinder, but what exactly is the 4th step?

also, you mention you need to extend projector piston, is that actually the first step, or the last step? and is that done manually or is there a control? thanks!
dresoccer4 22 Feb, 2015 @ 1:27pm
how do you do it? you consistently put out the highest quality ships. doing it once is pretty good, but repeating the amazing work is outstanding! thank you!

Epic!) Cruiser with replication system.
Death.eXe 11 Dec, 2014 @ 2:07pm
thx a lot :)
Lord Commissar  [author] 11 Dec, 2014 @ 9:47am
go to your workshop tab in game, click on the suscribed world, and then hit copy & load
Death.eXe 11 Dec, 2014 @ 8:35am
so how can i get the ship ?
Lord Commissar  [author] 10 Dec, 2014 @ 9:42pm
this is not a blueprint
Death.eXe 10 Dec, 2014 @ 8:07pm
It doesent come up to my Blueprint list :( anybody can help ?
King Chud of Incel Mountain 10 Dec, 2014 @ 1:13pm
I used to play this game until it got so comp;icated ofr me that I just quit. I can handle basic pyhsics but not triple-refining feces into uranium.
NoTalentPRO 9 Dec, 2014 @ 11:59am
good spaceship how long do you have build on it ??? it is very cool gj :)
Lord Commissar  [author] 9 Dec, 2014 @ 10:40am
no worries, and i may have gotten too opinionate myself right there lol. however, it is to say i always build my ships with a certain role in mind, and they are meant to play together in a fleet. to me, a ship that can do and endure everything is simply boring, so weaknesses give a certain personality, especially when another ship is there to make up for it.

also, glass cockpits make a nicer aesthetic ;)
WiFiN 9 Dec, 2014 @ 10:30am
By any means, I'm not saying it's a bad ship! Sorry if it sounded so. I'm just expressing the results of my tests, hoping they might help you with your future designs.
Lord Commissar  [author] 9 Dec, 2014 @ 9:45am
@alhevi it's not a mod, you just simply cut away blocks until you have it

@wifin you must consider what kind of role a ship like this would be in. given the long time it takes to produce a ship, putting a ship like this on the frontlines is idiotic. carriers in general are meant for support and behind the lines roles, while battleships, cruisers, etc. are the ones that take the beatings and keep anyone from getting that far.
psiycomantis88 9 Dec, 2014 @ 7:00am
Very nice. not a fan of the hangar but that is just personal opinion. I will say very nice desighn and very well excuted. very nice indeed
WiFiN 9 Dec, 2014 @ 6:59am
Really nice design and decorations. Effective armor on side consoles, but the bridge and the main habitable area are quite vulnerable - managed to cause major damage with a single warhead.
Alhevi 9 Dec, 2014 @ 6:48am
is this a MOD to show the ship on the half or plan a ship? like the 2 last pic?
Sega 9 Dec, 2014 @ 3:12am
I do :/
Lord Commissar  [author] 8 Dec, 2014 @ 8:56pm
use the offset settings i posted in the description
Sega 8 Dec, 2014 @ 7:20pm
For me the projector says out of bound when i try to make a wasp
nobodx 8 Dec, 2014 @ 1:48pm
Gotta correct my previous commet, with the hangar-door infront of the assembly-area, you've upgrade your ship from super to epic ;)
Lord Commissar  [author] 8 Dec, 2014 @ 12:51pm
you aren't the first to mention this concern. i have now added a blast door to it
nobodx 8 Dec, 2014 @ 9:34am
I like the design of the ship, but one thing bothers me, why is the assembly area rather unprotected in the front ? One (un-) lucky shot could render the (almost) entire ship useless in combat.
Tyran 8 Dec, 2014 @ 7:13am
Wow, very nice
Lord Commissar  [author] 7 Dec, 2014 @ 6:41pm
no, worlds allow for resources to be pre-set in containers, reactors, etc. as well as other scenery pieces to go together. obviously, people are welcome to make their own blueprints
HunterXman 7 Dec, 2014 @ 6:37pm
Are you planning to make these larger builds into blueprints?
Webmind 1 7 Dec, 2014 @ 1:57pm
OK, I gotcha-looking forward to more high-quality work! (I've noticed you like EVE, take a look at Homeworld 1...)
Lord Commissar  [author] 7 Dec, 2014 @ 9:58am
I already updated the Phoenix and Kestrel with mods, i didnt use armor ramps no, but i don't plan to either. constantly revisiting old designs will keep me from moving forward
Webmind 1 7 Dec, 2014 @ 2:37am
Dark lord, are you now using mods as standard? If so, are you planning on revisiting more of your old ships (the Phoenix and Kestrel could use an Armor Ramp makeover...)?
Mr.Pewpew 6 Dec, 2014 @ 5:44pm
Great ship and support craft!
Chewy Bar 6 Dec, 2014 @ 6:31am
darklord you really know how to build great things keep up the good work
Agnar 3 Dec, 2014 @ 9:47pm
I've never considered vertical hangars, that's actually really cool!
silver.talon 3 Dec, 2014 @ 8:08pm
Excellent model as usual! Its an interesting alternative to other manufacturing models I've seen. Currently I tacked on a projector on a boom and attached that to the old Kraken. The boom is one of those piston mods capable of a 35m length so I can do sizable ships and have all the materials and components next door. Perhaps not as graceful as what you create but functional for now. Kudos to you!
