I know, it's why I wish it was as simple as a SFM script.

I know how to recompile a model, I can perhaps figure out the .vmt myself, but it be just a hassle all for the few non-TF2 models I want to have the uber effect with.

It's possible, but since you're gonna be editing the vmt's of selected model materials, it's semi permanent edits ^^

I guess so.
I just wish I can apply the uber effect to models others than TF2.

I have no knowledge on dealing with scripts sadly, and yes i'll try to do trolldier set

Instead of making the weapons uber individually, why not a script that applies that ripply uber effect to any chosen model?
