There's a small issue with this mod in any case. Trading Spot apparently affects visitors too. Iunno if this is directly due to this mod, or whether it's an interaction with the mod Smarter Visitors but since the last thing I want is for filthy passers-by to clutter up the place (they don't even have anything to trade, they were just the ones that are supposed to mooch on by) I'll be removing this mod :/

@Monkey Magic if I remember correctly, it is to prevent you from placing a trading spot in the middle of the enemy and getting the traders killed

This spawns as a blueprint? None of the other spots do this, is this an error that popped up in 1.6? Never used this mod prior

@V ! P - Translations have the language after the mod title, often in parentheses so iunno why you'd think that. Most people know bracketed, prefixed letters refer to content by a specific creator, brand, theme, or version and not a translation.

For example:

[1.3], [1.4], [1.5], [1.6], [CAT], [FSF], [JAIL], [JDS], [JPT], [Meow], [NL], [Og], [SYR], [SZ], [WYD]

I'm sure Those prefixes conjure up mods you have used, or know and what type they are.

This is useful for when multiple versions of a mod are available, or creators have uploaded a similar title. Or if you're playing a specific theme, and want to search for specific mods.

@ProgrammerLily - I think you're good to keep your [PL]. I prefix my mods with [WYD] coz it makes them easier to track in modlists, but also coz I made a ton of mod, and not prefixing ta folder makes it easier to locate mods I'm currently working on :P

Do you know of any mods that add a market like this, but more from the current era, that would allow me to sell stored items in the market? I imagine it would be using Hospitality and another mod.

Could you please use a picture that's not the usual gray spot? [GMT] Trading Spot used a purple one, which made it distinct.

As for the mod size, I don't think 3.5MiB is a concern (although it's curious why a simple mod would take so much in git), but the problem can be easily "fixed" by adding a github link to the description and not distributing .git in the workshop.

THANK YOU I didn't think of that at all, ill probably republish without the initals it mostly started as a way to locate my mods in the list as i have reading difficulties due to dyslexia

when u put [PL] someone will think this mod is translated just for Poland language.. every(or most of them) country have 2-Letter Country Name. but when i look at ur name i assume is 2 letter initial of ur name?

@stearpike the github stuff is mostly my moding scaffolding it does not phone home, it looks like the git folder is just large, i inherited this from a previous maintainer so i am not sure why

@KahirDragoon Thanks! As i said, I'm not a coder. Just thought it was a bit bloaty with 80+ folders just for .git. Thats twice the size of the actual mod.

@Stearpike Looked at the code. The mod is not sending and receiving anything.
Github is file versioning site for that used to store the source code.
The size comes mostly from the .git folder which is also used for the versioning system called git.

While you could argue about uploading source code version information with steam mods its harmless.

This file seems a bit off. Half of it is the actual mod, the other seems to be linking to .github. Not in any way a coder, but never came across a mod that "sends and receives" data as much as this. Can someone check if its a scam?

Thank you! I use it to move the traders over to where I'm being attacked so they help. OR get them the heck out of an annoying spot, or make sure they end up in a trade building instead of freezing their asses off in winter. Woohoo!
