Hello, excellent author. I'd like to ask how I can obtain this vest in the picture. I'm very interested in it.

Hey @HappyToshka I greatly appreciate your providing the info. I shall take a gander and update this mod soon. Thanks again!
HappyToshka 31 Jul @ 6:07pm
@Captain Austin, you can use FModel to pull out the necessary templates. That's what I did for my GDR coloring pages. Everything you need is on the way: Boston/Content/Art/Vehicles/PoliceCars/APV in game PAK-file: H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Police Simulator Patrol Officers\Boston\Content\Paks\Boston-WindowsNoEditor.pak

Hey @Raininfall, appreciate the feedback! I'll upload the APV as soon as the dev's update the mod template to include the APV template layout.

The sexiest skin pack on the entire Workshop!❤️
Captain Austin  [author] 3 Jul @ 11:20am
Hey @BlueLineChronicles, after "subscribing" and the mod is downloaded, it should be available once you're in the garage and customizing the vehicles. There's nothing special that you have to do other than downloading the mod, switching skins in the garage and patrol essentially.

@CynicalProle, I'm glad you like this mod, but again these siren sound files are not Motorola, as I mentioned where the sounds files obtained and also mentioned these sound files were modified then combined to have the Wail-Yelp combination. Each light bar is developed differently from one another, but use the same *.json. Meaning, for example, the amber you speak of, on the "Default" light bar, the lowers are amber as intended, those overrides are "Lower_Left_1" to "Lower_Left_3" and "Lower_Right_1" to "Lower_Right_3", but those overrides could be positioned differently on each light bar. Sure we can modified it to make since say for "Light Bar 06" in game but won't make sense for other light bars that use the same *.json. Which is a long way of saying, it's on the game devs to fix the lighting positions.

Don't get me wrong; I still love the mod. The livery looks great and the Motorola dual wail/yelp and Federal signal priority with Rumbler (I think it's specifically the SmartSiren 3000 or 3000B tones) sound really good. I also love the lighting pattern and think it's the best pattern I've seen in PSPO yet. My only suggestion would be to take out the forward facing amber on the lightbars if possible. Amber is always rear facing. Otherwise though love the mod and still would recommend it.

The Spectra was only really used by LAFD, Virginia State Police, and very old Chicago Fire Dept units. It's super nostalgic so I still was happy to hear it. Since it's a different company, their tones couldn't be used by Whelen. You can hear the Motorola here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9TepndlY_c

It's not a big issue, but I think it would be more accurate and help people know at a glance what the sirens are going to sound like. Like even if it was on a Whelen box, it's not a main Whelen tone and people think Motorola when they hear it.
CynicalProle 27 Jun @ 7:53am
Motorola Spectra has unique tones. There's no one set of Whelen tones. They differ depending on the box. The examples on Galls seem to come from one of the Cencom boxes--can't tell which though but maybe Sapphire or Gold. You can check out various boxes' tones on Youtube, and they may be available on Whelen's site. This tone set wouldn't be on any of the Cencom boxes or any of the 295 boxes. I can't even find it on the Galls site you linked. Galls may have even just made a mistake as they are a third party seller and it can be hard to keep all the tones apart. The Whelen Carbide contains all Whelen tones both US and international. You can listen to it here and those Motorola tones won't be on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NvVjwSnMbw
Captain Austin  [author] 26 Jun @ 7:48pm
Hey @CynicalProle, sorry, I believe you're mistaken as the sirens were downloaded from >> https://www.galls.com/pages/siren-tones << which is a licensed seller that sells not only Whelen, but also major brands (i.e. Feniex, Federal Signal, Code 3 etc...). The dual wail and yelp was combined/modified using Audacity software. It's possible Motorla Spectra utilizes the same sounds files in their siren controllers, but these sounds files were obtained from Whelen and Federal Signal.
CynicalProle 26 Jun @ 7:36pm
Those aren't Whelen sirens. The dual wail and yelp is from the Motorola Spectra
