Aug 19th

Dear Diary,

Today was pretty bad in terms of morale.

I woke up, complained about how dark it was,

Solved the puzzle [Like always]

Did my 'business' in the bathroom.

I looked at the bed

he's doing it again
Monwil 3 Jul @ 7:00am
Is the meaning of the final code literally just haha 42069 epic gamer number except 0 broke or is my brain rotten beyond repair?
seed 2 Jul @ 12:29pm
This reminds me of a TV show that used to be on. Huge worldwide but the main actor got out of it so it got canned. 9/10 i dont know how to get out.
No clue how to solve the last puzzle without datamining though. Interested in future work for sure though.
RSummer 28 Jun @ 12:46pm
Final code is 4269 and I have no idea how I was supposed to get it.
The first digit is easy to get, but I absolutely don't see the logic of each next one.I tried to think, but nothing happens.

To get the code to the second safe you need to watch a certain movie or google the hint you received. Which is a bit disappointing. ( its 007 because hint its quote from "Seven" movie)
The level is very coolly designed technically and atmospheric, but the puzzles themselves are clearly not for goonbrained.
I didn't immediately realize that there was more than one room. The note says that you just need to complete one puzzle, go to the bathroom and go to bed and don't ask questions. You don't have problem with me, I keep my eyes closed and the bathroom open, easy-peasy
serezha  [author] 28 Jun @ 3:48am
that's hidden ending. i believe you just won again
Monwil 28 Jun @ 1:59am
Forgot to mention it yesterday, but I manahed to get myself softlocked by opening the micro-room with the note, going inside, then closing the door. Since there was not enough space to squeeze me in, the door got seemingly perma-stuck in "closing" state, preventing me from leaving .
loop321 27 Jun @ 6:53pm
The door code is 4 digits. That being said, the first 2 digits of your first guess is correct, Jamie. If you read my previous comments you would know where I am with this level, btw
(Comment reposted to fix a spelling error being they don't allow editing in these comments.

ok I did the math, I tried to extrapolate repeating patterns in the week of aug 22-aug26 to try and figure out the code, the last digit eludes me though, assuming that today in game is monday aug 29th the code should be 421? (if weekends also have codes) or 213? (if the weekends don't have codes)i tried trial and erroring the last digit of each and nither worked, I'm stumped, please give us a hint?
serezha  [author] 27 Jun @ 2:42pm
i think if you find hidden default texture then you win
Monwil 27 Jun @ 2:38pm
Is it intended that kicking down the door in dead guy's bathroom shows a default texture wall ?
Plazmin 27 Jun @ 1:39pm
phenomenal map

made my jaw drop at some points
Jamie Stien 27 Jun @ 6:53am
the code for the second safe is a number set associated with a character sometimes played by Sean Connery
Jamie Stien 27 Jun @ 6:49am
'What's in the box, James?' is a line from a movie called seven
loop321 25 Jun @ 7:33pm
It is true you don't need a 0 for the code, and I know the code itself, but I looked in the submission's files to find it, so I don't actually know how I would have found out the code normally, which is the last mystery for me on this level.
Robo 25 Jun @ 11:23am
thanks for the hint. i'm still trying to figure out the door combination. According to you, 0 isn't needed. could there perhaps be a number that replaces it in the combination? I can't see any other way to do it.
loop321 25 Jun @ 7:34am
Hint for the hint: 1995 Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman movie
Robo 25 Jun @ 7:28am
loop321, i have no idea
loop321 25 Jun @ 7:21am
To Robo: Do you know what the 2nd safe hint is referencing? And all I know about the door is that you don't need a 0 button.
Robo 25 Jun @ 7:19am
Interesting level, but I cannot solve the door nor the second safe for the life of me.

please put spoilers under the tag
loop321 21 Jun @ 11:51am
Day 3: I broke reality and noclipped. Nothing in that outside area, the vent loop was closed off by blocks. The coded door led to an elevator. Still nothing about the actual combination.
Day 4: I further dissected reality but going into the workshop files and finding the combination. No 0 button was needed anyways, but I'm not closer to finding out how I would have gotten the combination.

Day 5: I'm putting my thoughts here.
loop321 21 Jun @ 11:51am
Day 1: Looked at the papers, solved the puzzle, bathroom, bed.
Day 2: Same puzzle...solved it, bathroom. Broke the vent, considered what the journey was talking about. Found a dead man in another bathroom. Went into a loop for a bit, found another bathroom for another room. And another safe. "What's in the box, James?" the answer is the reference. get the key, open the door for a similar note to got to bed, but for James.
Window is broken open. Hallway, a route back to my room. Checked the vents again, could get back to those extra rooms, found a vent to the place outside my room, but the cover wouldn't break. Managed to get the hallway power on, read the notes, found another vent that leads to a note that says "nope."
No 0 button, tried the other button codes without t zero to no avail. I looked all around for more numbered clues. More notes. Nothing. I gave up for the night and went to my bed.
Burger 21 Jun @ 10:30am
the puzzle was quite interesting and the bathroom break was refreshing, but the vents i was crawling inside of were quite claustrophobic, 9/10
cool grandpa 21 Jun @ 2:22am
day 3: i solved the puzzle easy peasy and took my mandatory bathroom break! the bathroom break was exceptionally good today and very pleasant. the bed is the comfiest to ever exist! im going to sleep
serezha  [author] 20 Jun @ 5:57am
see guys, Lorenz does it right

thank you
cool grandpa 20 Jun @ 5:08am
day 2: i did everything that was needed to be done solved the very intriguing puzzle, took my mandatory bath break and went to sleep. 100/10 just like yesterday
serezha  [author] 20 Jun @ 4:01am
i don't understand how you do that in the first place
serezha  [author] 20 Jun @ 3:58am
also guys please stop leaving the room, you're not supposed to
serezha  [author] 20 Jun @ 3:56am
sometimes one note doesn't cover the whole thing
dard98 20 Jun @ 3:33am
Well, that was an experiense. And i didn't even finished it (damn 0 button). Didn't know some of the stuff was even possible in the FA edditor. Can be a cool concept for a style of the map people could make with puzzles to solve. Also yeah, what with the door panel. Any small non-spoiler hints on where to look?
serezha  [author] 19 Jun @ 2:51pm
sorry man, i have no idea. you can also check the modding channels in discord, maybe people there had similar issues with different mods

but you're not missing anything anyway, there is just a tiny relatively cozy room on this map, nothing else

i promise
thebadeed 19 Jun @ 11:09am
well I have it installed, but its not showing up in neither the mod manager nor the workshop episodes
cool grandpa 19 Jun @ 11:07am
this was the best level i have played i solved the puzzle and did everything that was required. bathroom was clean everything in place 100/10
serezha  [author] 19 Jun @ 11:06am
what's exactly not showing up - the level in the menu?

i think if you subscribe to the mod then steam should just download the map and then it should be available under 'workshop episodes' in the game menu

you can also double check via mod manager if the mod is enabled

---

so far i haven't heard of such issue so that may indeed be you, but let me know if you have more details (or even if the issue resolved itself)
thebadeed 19 Jun @ 10:46am
tho that might just be me
thebadeed 19 Jun @ 10:46am
hey so Its Not Showing up for me???
serezha  [author] 19 Jun @ 9:56am
it seems so, yes
very strange

i'm looking into it
Jcaor2005 19 Jun @ 9:12am
Then, i can't open the lift, you know?
serezha  [author] 19 Jun @ 7:24am
0 botton is overrated
0 botton is a lie
Jcaor2005 19 Jun @ 6:15am
There is no 0 botton
RSummer 19 Jun @ 1:21am
Well, now there are psychological horrors in Fallen Aces.
Not a fan of puzzles, but thumbs up for the classic 0451 code.
Bongy 19 Jun @ 12:47am
This actually is one of the most impressive levels I've seen made so far, genuinely so good.
serezha  [author] 18 Jun @ 11:32pm

serezha  [author] 18 Jun @ 2:43pm

Catatonic 18 Jun @ 11:46am
I couldn't figure out the door code so I kind of just noclipped through that, but otherwise this was pleasantly uncomfortable. Bravo.
