Just a quick question to make sure i'm not mistaken and that i may be missing something. But currently when i mill coins i am losing 5 coins of what ever i produce. So the work bench is only producing 45 coins instead of 50. Is this based on the skill of the pawn or am i'm missing something?

with this mod, it's seemingly causing texture errors with the basic materials like silver and gold. makes their textures be replaced with a red question mark

can i use the coins to pay for empire settlement stuff?
Hazel 20. juli kl. 19:52
i've seen it go from a bit above 1, then to 0.98-0.96. now after making my trading person a merchant through ideo to get a 10% trade improvement, it's now at 0.88

Having a weird issue. the value of gold coins keep going down. it seems to be inversely effected by the social skill of the pawn or something. however another set of lower value coins is increasing value, i'm very confused by this i've never seen an item go down in value like this

Thanks, the recipe is definitely applied to those tables also, and shouldn't be, I'm going to fix that right now and push an update so the coin mill is the only one that can make it.
Aelok 19. juli kl. 16:44
I found why my coins were named strangely, it's because they can also be crafted from a Machining Table before the tech is researched. Once the proper coin mill is unlocked and used, the names are no longer strange or oddly colored. Seems there two trees of coins available atm.

Oh! Okay, I'll just keep uncommenting it if needed; for me, it only shows the gold coins I have and no other coins, but that might be the togglable readouts mod (i never play unmodded so I don't know lol)
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 19. juli kl. 9:57
Feels like I should make that a mod option.
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 19. juli kl. 9:57
Wait, I remember. I pulled that because now that I'm programmatically generating coins, it could end up being ... a lot of coins, lol. I thought it cluttered the readout.
T 19. juli kl. 9:54
sorry, yes, I was asking if there is a reason it's commented out; uncommenting lead to the coins being in the readout, but I don't know if there was some reason that it was commented out
thanks for the quick replies!
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 19. juli kl. 9:15
That is commented out, that's what the <!-- and --> do.
T 19. juli kl. 9:15
er, jk, I just looked at the Defs for this mod, and it has the line:
<!--<resourceReadoutRoot>true</resourceReadoutRoot>-->

Zaljerem, is there a reason for this line (i.e. will I break something if I remove that?) I'll test it, but I'm seeing no issue?
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 19. juli kl. 9:13
The storage fixes were not backported to 1.5, should be ok in 1.6. At some point I hope to work back on the trader-related options.
T 19. juli kl. 8:59
I'm testing the "replace silver with gold coins" option, and I love it so far (cross your fingers there's no knock on effects). I did notice that now traders won't accept silver anymore, so maybe you could add a config option for "Add silver to acceptable trading goods for all traders"? I switched mid-game to gold coins (smart, I know), so I kinda screwed myself a bit haha

Additionally, if anyone is using Togglable Readouts (Continued) on 1.6, can you confirm that the fixed shelf storage means that currency shows up as a category on the side readout? On my current 1.5 old-version, I had to add gold coins to the "gemstones" category to get it to show up on the side readout. When I was fixing my storage to accept coins with RIMMQoL, I noticed that "currency" isn't included in "root" category, so I'm hoping that, with the storage fixed, the readout is also fixed?
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 19. juli kl. 4:15
Can you verify your mod version is 1,0,4? Last update should have fixed that.
Aelok 19. juli kl. 0:04
When making silver coins they end up called "Steel Silver coins". When making coins from Amethyst (gems mod) they come out called "Granite amethyst coins", both look gray like stone. Am I doing something wrong?
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 17. juli kl. 6:04
Updated: Shelf storage fixed - for 1.6 only, 1.5 is end-of-life
Wednesday 11. juli kl. 14:59
With the new DLC it became more apparent to me how the coins cannot be placed in storage buildings, only in zones.
Even the coining mill appears in the storage filter, but not the coins themselves.
Vartarhoz 6. juli kl. 9:27
Zal can you make it so it takes 3x2 instead of 3x1? Texture looks funny and doesn't match footprint. Also coins on shelves. Right now I cannot put them on shelves. They are laying around like treasure in dragon cave.
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 21. juni kl. 16:56
Research Coinage, build a coin mill.
james 21. juni kl. 16:54
How do you make coins with this mod?
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 20. juni kl. 20:59
Thanks, added missing coin textures. I'll look into the orbital traders when I get a moment.
Wolfette 19. juni kl. 20:34
Imperial coins are missing 4 of the last 6 stack sizes.
Wednesday 18. juni kl. 21:55
I think I just found a bug.

Orbital traders do not use gold coins as currency when the option is enabled; they still use silver. However, you can sell gold coins for $1 to them.

Caravan traders visiting the map use gold coins as expected.
Seripa 18. juni kl. 8:10
Sweet. I love this mod.
LNBalestra 17. juni kl. 22:05
WOOOOOOOOO ITS HERE
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 16. juni kl. 19:59
@thesoupiest There are some half-baked options from the original mod that I lightly tested that will replace silver with gold coins ... but this is completely brute force and I have no idea what knock-on effects could occur! Good luck, and keep me posted. :)
BobbyBrown 16. juni kl. 13:05
nice, thanks for reviving
thesoupiest 16. juni kl. 11:08
Any chance of an option to make coins work like silver or gold if made from it?
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 16. juni kl. 6:10
Thanks, noted, looking into it.
miniusAreas 15. juni kl. 22:46
Coins can't be stacked on shelves.
