May I ask, does the mod includes pawns kept as slaves or not?

Love this mod, running a playthrough in Odyssey and have a section on my ship dedicated to the pawns we lost on the way. Any possible way to have the ability to update the day number in dev mode? For those of us that start halfway through (It still seems to keep their death in order so you can find the right date in the vanilla history tab and then update the year manually on the Stele

So one of the hunter drones somehow got on the list. A little harmless bug i guess, Just one drone out of dozens.

it would be really great if there would be cause of death listet. i love holding celebrations to honor great wars with days matter, this mod and epitaph

That's a very good point! If a mod periodically wipes the list of pawns from the save data, that would absolutely cause the list to go blank.

@Texas Redhawk some performance mods wipes or delete info about deceased pawns to save some memory, or maybe one of these QoL do that as well, you had to check in full if they do anything related to that (also I believe Dubs performance analyzer have some patches but I might be wrong here)

Not entirely related but does anyone know how to have your person make a Stele with a specific event, mod or not? I'm having to save right before it finishes and hope I don't have to reload too much.

You know what you are missing here? A small plaque for every colonist and their cause of death. Maybe even let the user to write it next to their memorial place. Basically "Dovaskarr- Age:50- Died on day 0- COD: "write down the cause." I would like to write the cause of death like "Gunned down by pirates" or "impaled by a scyther" or "heart attack" or "died from a meteorite" and things like that?

I think there's an issue with compatibility with some mod. I could never get it to fail like that but have heard from a couple of people now that the list is blank. I can't think what else it could be.

I love this! the original Rimworld did really less at this aspect. I always believe Death is a core part of the story which generated by player.

This is a great mod thanks for making it. If I may would it please be possible for you at some-point to add a slightly larger size variant such as a 3x3, Nvm if it would be a pain to do or if you aren't interested of course.

I also just noticed my memorial stele is blank. I did install it before the June 17th update.

I tried downloading the Epitath mod but it seems to work fine. I tested on 1.5, tried different load orders just in case but it works fine.

Perhaps some other mod is causing it to fail. It would have to be one that interferes quite heavily with the way game stores the information about pawns to affect this mod.

Having an issue where the stele is just straight up not working in my save. No error logs or anything like that, but when pawns die nothing gets added to the stele. Assuming it's a compatibility error, maybe with Epitath?

Oh, that's odd. I just tried replicating the issue but no matter what I do, I don't seem to get this problem. I even tried creating a save with some dead pawns without the mod installed and then adding the mod + loading that game. The pawns still appeared on the list.

My theory is, maybe your dead pawns died before version 1.3 (17th of June)? I have completely reworked the logic behind storing those to be better (I think :)). Perhaps those deaths are not listed on the updated version of the mod anymore.

I'll keep an eye out for more reports like this. If you you get the same issue again and find what the exact steps are to replicate this issue, please do let me know. Thanks!

Not at the moment. Thanks though, it's a good suggestion. I had a quick look at it and it seems kinda complicated to implement (surprisingly so!). Also, I wouldn't want Ideology to be a required DLC for the mod.

ive noticed an issue with the mod, i placed the stele the other day and it worked fine but coming back on the game today and loading up the save the memory section is now empty? and it doesn't have my two dead colonists listed anymore as if they never existed

If you would like to have more versions of Stele then I can try draw them for you. You know, maybe when ideology is in specific style in colony, then Stele could reflect given style. :)

New update dropped. Added the functionality to hide unwanted entries.

Can the building icon size be adjusted? The pointed top currently sticks out of the icon box, which looks uncomfortable — especially for players with OCD. :steamhappy:

Yea I think I'll just add the toggle for hidden (removed) entries. That way everyone can just hide whatever they don't want. I think I figured out how to do it well too I'm just struggling with UI elements at the moment. It'll be added by the end of the day I reckon.

Maybe only bonded animals? It might not work for every legendary animal who went down a hero, but it's probably going to catch most of them, right?

Fully filtered out mechs.

As for the pet animals, it's going to be difficult to find a good filter. Can't filter by trainable as then Cats would be on par with Cows for example. No telling what mods people have as well where they'd want to include their pet untrainable dragon for example!

Besides, what if someone decided they want to have a pet Cow?

Suggestions: Option to toggle off mechs from the memorial or a way to scrub the memorial of specific pawns? And for animals a filter for named versus farm animals. I'd like to have the dogs, cats, etc. that were named be there but not Cow 1, Cow 2, Bull 3, etc.

Oh! I tested on some old saves and didn't have any issue.

Any chance you could expand on this/share some screenshots? What exactly was the console spam about? Are you sure it wasn't caused by some incompatibility with another mod? If you still have a save that caused the issue before you added the mod, would you be able to share it please? I'd like to test it.

I'll add you to friends if that makes it easier.

I might look into getting the "Cause of Death" next but after having a quick look it looks like it won't be a quick one to implement I don't think. I'll update the Changelog once it's ready (if ever!!! No promises)

It would be better to add a prefix to the translation keys, otherwise it can easily cause confusion.

Hi all, new update just dropped. Finally managed to figure out the Date display. Added a toggle in case any of you prefer the old way of displaying "Day died on" only.

Also added full translation support. Here's hoping I did it correctly. This is my first mod to anything ever so please bear with me! :)
