Why is the camera perspective in passenger planes mostly fixed at the spawn point?

I joined my friend but cant move my camera, i can run around but the cams stuck.

If you're in the multiplayer beta (game properties > beta > stable/internal multiplayer), then when you load in (multiplayer > campaign), pause the game and press the invite button
