It can take longer then what you played, it will be random, the mod is working as intended, if you want it to happen faster use wf_jumpscare_chance and put in a lower value

1/10000 Chance for it to happen, 10000 is more then 1000 so it will take more time. It's not broken

Found out there was nothing wrong with the texture, it just fades based in distance. Guess the material browser renders a few meters away from the camera.

I recommend to set the chance to 100, the jumpscare Isn't extremely rare, not too common, but enough to appear when I least expect it.

Use DirectX 9 if you're not already, It does not work on anything lower
