2. Spy throws away the gun to the side
3. Copy and paste the animation of how the spy draws out the revolver by default AFTER the gun fully falls on the ground
4. Match the default stance with the end of the default withdrawal animation
And boom, Quintillionare, grammy award winner, hot dog competition enjoyer
GL, hope this helps
That said, I would like to suggest to perhaps go back and revamp the taunt again, this time having spy toss the gun to the side, and him reach into his pocket to pull out a new one, similarly to how he does so by default when switching between his other utility and the revolver
Heres the thing, I feel like you did great, but this would benefit from a slight revamp in the tossing gun away portion of the taunt.
I am not in any taunt effect discord servers, nor do I honestly know of any, but I would say that you should definitely reach out to them and redo the draw effect, and ask for some ample feedback to make the transition a bit more seamless.
I commend your efforts, and look forward to seeing this in game
I think this has amazing potential, and as an ample fan of anything spy themed
I pray for your success
There are only two minor things that catch my eye: The revolve changes hands (L->R) which I think is not necessary and the extension of the arm before the pirouette is done results in a bit of a flourish. It fits with the reference but feels a bit awkward for the implemented motion.
Changes:
Listened to your feedback and included various fixed/improvements to the animation
Replaced final chunk of animation to make the motion more natural
Extended length of the Taunt from 3.6 -> 4.3 seconds to make ending up on the kill cam easier
In-Game Visuals included in the promo
It perhaps could be resolved if the taunt used its own revolver model, or perhaps some sort of flair after he puts the gun on his jacket. Or, don't end the animation like that, make so that he still had the revolver at end once the taunt ends, since he mostly likely going to be back to the revolver if this is initiated with his primary active.
You'd be playing reverse Russian roulette and praying for a crit.
