The creator (@Ilunak) already stated that the ONLY intention was to aesthetically design a realistic bus stop experience, not intended for TRAMS, or anything else (read the title again), nor for it to function as such. So, for it to even have TRAM anything is a bonus / plus. Yet, and still, only aesthetics is the goal for this mod, which has been accomplished, with flying colors.

Therefore, that being said, if it isn't what you are looking for, then you can always kindly unsub from the mod and move forward from it. That simple...

I know that, I addapt that as much as I can for my crowded 500k city, but sometimes it's hard to play with those nodes. For example in cities in motion so also paradox's game a bus stop can be used by 2 buses at the same time

@Dinek05 instead of arguing with mod creators, and waiting for a solution, you could be adapting your methods. Separating tram lines that share a stop into two stops in sequence. With proper timing the two lines won't interfere, but sometimes one tram will have to wait for a tram in front of it to get to its stop; which is something they also do in the real world when things get busy.

there is point for trams since often stops are long enough to fit 2 trams instead of one being stuck in the middle of intersection

Would it be possible to have two buses being boarded at the same time? It's not uncommon in real world to have a stop for multiple lines and 2-3 vehicles simultaneously boarding, looks like stops in CS1 could handle 2 buses at once.

Has this affected anyones rail or metro lines? Making and connecting new/old lines seems to be broken after using this mod.... the mod is great btw!

I think that is related to a specific situation, a bus, a road or something. Because that is not the general behaviour you are describing there.

Turning off this mode would benefit traffic, unless passengers learn to board without object collisions, but still the work is great job!

With this mod, buses stops at the end of the stop and no passengers board the bus... Had to turn it off.

You're very welcome! Yeah, I was one of them that were on board with this request as well. It would definitely be much more efficient as well as adding a "spot on" realistic flair. Although, just having the aesthetics of this mod enhances the entertainment level of the game. So, we are grateful for IIunak having the idea to create it! :D

Creator has already stated that this is not in the plan for making. It has been already requested several times. The mod still has (and will remain) with the vanilla functionality of the bus services, one at a time. It just makes it more "aesthetically" realistic.

Does that make sense?

Yes! The exact mod we should have! I can't believe that CO still hasn't fixed this in C:S 2 (in early version videos I saw, not sure about now though).

@llunak Well I think a global setting is totally OK. I think I can try out the appropriate value of margin to the lane length by myself for my assets so that we do not need to bother you to adjust this.

@芃生: How would you expect that to work? Having a separate configuration option per each road type seems like an overkill.

I actually couldn't figure out how to properly measure the length of the stop, so the margin is set at 1/6 of the lane length. If another modder knew how to get properly the length of the stop vs the length of the road segment, then that would presumably work for all roads.
